Madhubala, ek ishq ek junoon: Phabo orders Madhu ‘Agneee Pareeksha’! RK snarls at Nivarans, Phabo thrown out

Madhubala- Ek Ishq.., Qubool Hai: TV stars serves 'Entertainment' at a 'Big' cost?
The Television Industry has been churning out doses of entertainment with popular soap operas viz, Madhubala...Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Qubool Hai, Sasural Simar Ka, Veera-Veer Ki Ardaas-Veera and starred highly popular names like Vivian D'sena.
It is the interest of the general public in Television that TV actors like Karan Singh Grover, Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar, Pratyusha Bannerjee became a household name but these actors who deliver this high-voltage drama with their acting skills have to go through troubled times as they work on a very tight schedule.
The issue of leaves in the Television Industry have allegedly seen problems to mega TV stars like Vivian D'sena or RK of Madhhubala even as he denies the speculations, saying I have never taken excessive leaves.
The RK of Madhubala said that some people wanted him to sit jobless, therefore they have been spreading such rumours. I am shooting 26 days a month as Iam in the lead so there is no question of tantrums, he was quoted as saying.
Madhubala producers Saurabh Tewari says that he had to face a lot of diffciulty as Vivian used to go on long leaves ( 6 days continuous ) and that too in a single stretch, this created a lot of difficulties.
Yash Pathak, who has been producing hit TV serials like Junoon and Ek Veer Ki Ardaas-Veera even dismisses the idea of leaves and says that there is no provision for leaves in Television Industry as they are not corporates.
.
Sana Sheikh from 'Gustalkh Dil' opines that there are no leaves for lead protagonist and other characters of the TV soaps can have leaves.

Post Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Vivian D’Sena to shoot an ad campaign in Goa!
The actor is shooting for the last four episodes in Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon before he leaves
Vivian D’Sena quit Colors’ popular show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon when the makers decided to take a 20-year leap. There have been several speculations about Vivian’s next project post the daily soap and we’ve been wondering too.
A source close to the actor tells us that he has signed for an apparel brand. After his last day on the sets of Madhubala, Vivian will take off to Goa where he will shoot for the ad campaign. “The owner of the clothes’ line and his son are big fans of Vivian, that is why they approached the actor to be their brand ambassador,” said the source.
The actor will then take off on a long family vacation and catch up on lost times. Looks like a lot of fun times ahead for the dishy dude, right. Enjoy!

Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon: Will the makers kill RK to end Vivian D’Sena’s track?
The makers are building the story for Rishab Kundra’s exit from the show. While we are not happy about it, there’s nothing we can really do, no?
A week back, the news about Vivian D’Sena quitting Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon came out. We spoke to the actor and the producer and found the reason behind such drastic steps. So Vivian is quitting ‘coz the story demands so, arrrggghhh!
Moving on, the story in Madhubala will focus on Bittuji – RK’s secretary – his child marriage, his new wife and his life there on. In between all this, we hear that Madhubala (Drashti Dhami) will get pregnant again. Now that things are better between them, RK will decide to take a break from movies to take care of his biwi.
In the interim, a new actor will emerge as a superstar, eating into RK’s fame. While RK is all lovey-dovey now, his ego and arrogance will not take a back seat. He will try to come back with a vengeance; but things will not go as per the plan. The makers will directly cut to post leap.
While we are not aware to how RK will be finished, wethinks he will meet the same fate as his father Mohan Kundra. Going by the rumours, their daughter will carry the baton forward in the film fraternity.
All we know for sure, is that the daily soap will take a leap amidst a lot of drama. The makers have promised that post the leap, the show will be even better than before, so we hope. Fingers crossed!

Drashti Dhami Follows Ankita; To Play Double Role Post Leap In Madhubala?
Madhubala's leap has upset the audiences, but now there is a good news coming for all the Drashti Dhami and Madhubala fans. Drashti might play a double role of both mother and daughter in the serial post leap which is similar to Ankita Lokhande's role in Pavitra Rishta. ADVERTISEMENT Post leap Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon will not see Vivian Dsena a part of the camp, but Drashti will sustain being Madhubala on the show. The recent news that has popped out is that Drashti might play role of both Madhubala as the mother and her 25-year-old daughter. Vivian had to quit the show as his character of RK could not be seen as the father of a 25-year-old daughter. But, the channel and producers were firm enough to retain Drashti and make her play both the roles.
This playing of double role is not a new thing as Ankita Lokhande has already done it in the serial Pavitra Rishta. Ankita initially was scared doing the role, but as time passed by she became more and more comfortable with it. Performing two roles at the same time is a tough thing and managing your fame while doing it is even more tougher. The same happened with Ankita. She was the most renowned TV star, but her change of roles had suddenly put her fame on stake. Drashti Dhami, who is aware of all the problems she would encounter by doing the double role, has still agreed to it. What could be the reason behind it? Will the fans accept her in the new avtaar and will this change of roles bring a decline in Drashti's fame?

I will miss everything about Madhubala: Sikandar Kharbanda
After Vivian Dsena, it’s now the turn of Sikandar Kharbanda, best known as Sikki of Colors’ Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (Nautanki Telefilms), to move out of the show.
Well, looks like playing an aged person on-screen does scare our TV stars, even though it’s considered to be a natural progression in TV soaps.
Yes, Sikandar too did not want to play a father on-screen like Vivian. Thus he decided to move out of the show.
The actor is presently shooting for the last few episodes of Madhubala.
When we contacted Sikandar, he confirmed the same and said, “I can’t play a father or an uncle of a 20-year old; that’s something I’ve never ever done. In fact, even though in Kasautii, the story took a leap four to five times, I was never asked to play a father and I was happy with that.”
Does this mean you would never ever play a father on-screen? “It’s not like that. I don’t mind playing a father to a four year old, but playing one of a 20-year old is too much,” the actor confessed.
What will you miss the most about Madhubala? “I will miss everything - from the cast, crew, to the location (Film City). I will miss everything,” Sikander quipped.
What’s next? “Well, I will take a short break and get back with something new,” he ended with a smile.
As we know, Sikandar’s on-screen wife played by Seema Mishra (character of Deepali) will also not be seen post leap in the show.
We all will miss you, Sikandar!!!

My fans didn’t expect me to play a father: Vivian Dsena
Telly actor Vivian Dsena says his recently announced exit from hit TV show, Madhubala — Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, came after a mutual decision was taken by him, show’s producers and Colors television channel. Vivian wasn’t convinced about playing a grown-up girl’s father, following a time
leap.
“It is the decision of the makers of the show. I think whatever they are doing is best for the show,” says Vivian, adding: “Moreover, wherever I am today is just because of them only. Obviously I’m feeling bad that my fans won’t be able to see me in Madhubala, but I think it is good for the life of the show.” Madhubala, which went on air in 2012, features Drashti Dhami in the titular role. Produced by Abhinav Shukla and Saurabh Tiwari, the show is reportedly set to take a leap forward, and post that, Drashti will return as the daughter of Madhubala and Rishabh Kundra, essayed by Vivian.
Vivian has said that he would not have been convincing enough in the role of a father and thus, he decided to leave the show. “It is also true that my fans would not expect me to play a father to a 25-year-old on the show as I’m 25 myself in real life,” says Vivian.
“I wouldn’t look convincing enough to play a dad, which is why the mutual decision was taken between me, the producers and the channel,” he adds. Vivian, who became popular with the TV show, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, feels his character on Madhubala has got into his “blood”. “It is very difficult to take the role out of my body,” he says.

Vivian Dsena: I wasn’t convinced about playing a father’s role in Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon
Vivian has said that he would not have been convincing enough in the role of a father and thus, he decided to leave the show
Popular TV actor Vivian Dsena says his recently announced exit from the show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon came after a mutual decision was taken by him, the show’s producers and the Colors. Besides, he wasn’t convinced about playing a grown-up girl’s father following a time leap.
“It is the decision of the makers of the show. I think whatever they are doing is best for the show,” Vivian told reporters here Friday at the show’s press conference.
“Moreover, wherever I am today is just because of them only. Obviously I am feeling bad that my fans won’t be able to see me again in Madhubala… but I think it is good for the life of the show,” he added.

“So, I think I wouldn’t be convincing enough to play a father, which is why the mutual decision was taken between me, the producers and the channel,” he added.
Vivian, who came to limelight with the portrayal of a vampire in the TV show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, feels “RK’s character has got into my blood” and “it is very difficult to take it out of it and out of my body”.
The actor has even thanked the makers of the show for providing him the opportunity and for believing that he could fit the bill to play an arrogant superstar in the show.
“RK will always remain close to my heart because it has been one of the best characters for me and I always thank him (Abhinav Shukla) for this and the entire team of Madhubala… and Colors,” Vivian, who has been part of other TV shows like Kasamh Se and Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki – Gangaa, said.
“These guys thought that I fit the bill despite that fact that people came and told them that Vivian Dsena is a wooden-faced actor, he would not suit the character and he would not be able to pull it off. But I think it was the fate and positivity in them that they believed in me and gave me a chance,” he added.

Re: 2.Noutati media
Despite changes in storylines, characters, audiences still glued to their favourite TV shows
That loyal viewers of Indian soaps thrive on the daily shenanigans of the saas, bahu, beti and baby tribe is a fact. Usually it’s the on-screen drama that has the audience hooked but currently the behind-the-scenes activity has everyone agog. Two high profile replacements can do that.
First Karan Singh Grover was replaced by Raqesh Vashisth in Zee TV’s hit show Qubool Hai and now the male lead of Madhubala— Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Vivian D’Sena has been given the marching orders. The Colors show headlined by Drashti Dhami is going for a 20-year leap with buzz being rife that small screen’s famous Bad Boy, Karanvir Bohra will be the new leading man opposite Dhami — who will get to play a double role of Madhubala and her daughter.
There is nothing novel about replacements in television anymore. I mean, they even changed the Balika of Balika Vadhu — Toral Rasputra was signed on as Anandi and Pratyusha Banerjee was told to go. Years ago, Ekta Kapoor replaced Smriti Irani with Gautami Kapoor as Tulsi in the mother of all soaps, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. With time, viewers have learnt to take these changes in their stride. A case in point is how the viewers accepted Hiten Tejwani as the new Manav when Sushant Singh Rajput opted out of Pavitra Rishta in order to fulfill his Bollywood dreams.
But whenever a replacement is announced, some controversy tumbles out. Like it happened in the case of Grover where Zee TV issued a statement that he was asked to go because of his starry tantrums and unprofessional behaviour. Grover denied the channel’s version and cited health reasons for his exit. In D’Sena’s case, Madhubala producer Saurabh Tewari said he was replaced because he was taking too many offs. “I had a tough time shooting with Vivian as he used to go on 6 days’ leave in a month, and that too at a stretch. A TV actor can’t do that. Even the parallel story lines that I created failed,” Tewari was quoted in a recent interview. D’Sena shot back claiming his contract specified 25 days availability.
But in TV, contracts have little value. The pace of the medium is such that it operates on daily demand-and-supply model. Moreover, there is hardly ever an episodic bank because storylines are changed according to the TRP ratings. It’s not unheard of actors shooting for 30 days for 15 hours at a stretch. The rules are same for everyone — if the actors toil hard so do the writers, creatives and the unit hands. Who said entertaining viewers is an easy job? But the bottomline is that the show must go on.
Drashti Dhami sad about Vivian Dsena's exit from Madhubala
Recently, popular TV actor Vivian Dsena’s sudden exit from his successful show, Madhubala, left many in the TV industry as well as his fans shocked.
And although there have been several rumours about the reasons behind his departure, his co-star Drasti Dhami has kept mum throughout.
She breaks her silence with this interview and talks about Vivian’s unexpected exit.
Were you surprised to hear about Vivian’s exit?
I was shocked to hear about Vivian. I have been working with him for the past one-and-a-half years, so I was surprised to know that he won’t be part of the show post the leap. It is the producer’s call. I felt sad about his exit.
After the leap, the show will focus on you. Will that increase the pressure on you?
Yes, of course. There will be pressure on everyone, not just me. The DOP, producer, creative and other actors — we will all be working together. Somewhere down the line, it might be a bit more for me as I play the lead.
You will be playing your own daughter on the show.
Yes, I guess. I am not aware of the storyline ahead, so I am clueless. In a few days, I will have a clearer picture.
There were reports about Vivian and you not getting along. Are they true?
That’s bulls**t. We are not the best of friends, but we don’t have any kind of sourness between us. We are friendly enough.
Buzz is that Gurmeet Choudhary will play the lead now.
I don’t know. It’s the producer’s call.
But you get along better with Gurmeet than Vivian, right?
No, both have been equally friendly towards me and vice versa.

Who will play Abhay Kapoor, the main lead post leap in Madhubala?
There are many actors who are in the race to play the main lead post leap in Colors popular show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.
After Vivian Dsena's exit as RK from the show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors things are still in a haze as to who will be shown as the superstar Abhay Kapoor in the show post the leap.
A reliable source informs us, "The leap will happen soon but even after the leap the story will continue to move further and Abhay Kapoor's entry will happen a little later. Thus there is still time to finalise the actor who will play this role as everything has to be perfect."
Telling us more about which actors are in the race, our source says, "Actors who are being considered are Shaleen Malhotra who is seen playing the daring cop Arjun in Star Plus' popular crime thriller series Arjun, Karan V Grover who was last seen in Punar Vivaah Ek Nayi Umeed, Keshav Arora who was last seen in Nach Baliye 5, Keith Sequira '16' movie fame, Gunjan Utreja, the host of Aamna Saamna - Investigative and Sudeep Sahir who was last seen in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki.
All these actors have given a look test and one of them should be finalised by early next week."
What do you think guys, who will suit the role of the next superstar of the show?

Colors’ next celebrity to live the life of a common man and raise money for a noble cause through their upcoming show, Mission Sapne happens to be the one and only Salman Khan.
While there were reports of Salman turning a ‘chaiwala’ for the show produced by Sobo Films, we have learnt that the dashing actor turned a ‘barber’ instead. The shoot for the same happened at Filmcity yesterday where a set-up of a barber shop was created for Salman.

Well, when Salman is there, can dance be kept away? We also hear that Salman did sway and perform with a little kid and two girls, who requested him to give a top-notch performance.
If sources are to be believed, the next celebrities in line to shoot for Mission Sapne are Drashti Dhami, Sidharth Malhotra and Ram Kapoor.
To give you more information on the shoot happening today, Drashti, the effervescent actress who portrays the lead role in Colors’ Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon will be shooting for Mission Sapne at the Oberoi Mall Signal. She will don the avatar of a ‘nimbu mirchi’ seller.
