Drashti Dhami aka Madhubala and Vivian DSena (RK) will be back as a couple on Colors hit show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Wondering where does this take Gunjan Utreja aka Abhay Kapoor and Madhu’s love story? While Abhay made a romantic proposal to Madhu in the last episode, it seems like it was just a facade. Madhubala takes a U-turn and hits back on to the revenge plot.

Abhay’s marriage proposal to Madhu is just another ploy, Kapoor is now seeking revenge from Madhu and her grandmother Radhaji (Shama Deshpande). And hence he instead gets a mentally challenged RK to marry Madhu.

Gives us a déjà vu feeling. While we like Madhubala fans are happy that Vivian DSena is back on the show, here are a few questions we have in mind. Does this mean that Vivian will sideline Gunjan in the coming episodes? Will Madhu-RK go through the same grind of winning over love and the love-hate relationship?

Abhay gets Madhu married to a mentally challenged person in Colors Madhubala?

The much awaited moment that the fans have been waiting for is here. The moment when they will get to see Televisions one of the most popular and loved Jodi Drashti Dhami and Vivian Dsena on screen once again.

Colors Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon produced by Nautanki Films is heading towards another interesting and intriguing track where Abhay Kapoor (Gunjan Utreja) will take revenge from Madhu (Drashti Dhami) by getting her married to a mentally challenged person which will be played by Vivian Dsena.

Yes, In the upcoming episodes viewers will see a different side of Abhay Kapoor where he decides to punish Madhu for the death of his father. Abhay Kapoor has come to know that Madhu is none other than RK and Madhubala Rishabh Kundra’s daughter and also that RK’s mother Radha (Shama Deshpande) is still alive. He will feel betrayed and olan to take a revenge on Madhu and Radha. What Abhay does not know is that Madhu herself does not know that she is the daughter of Superstars RK and Madhu or anything that happened 18 years back.

Abhay will propose marriage to Madhu, which she will happily accept and on the wedding day he will get her to the wrong person. Madhu will believe that she is getting married to Abhay but will be shocked when she discovers that Abhay has cheated her.

RK-Madhu fans have a reason to smile and celebrate as Vivian D sena is all set to mae a come back in Madhubala. All the fans have been eagerly waiting to see their favourite jodi of RK and Madhu back together on the show and looks like the wait will soon be over as the couple will get married on the show.



Colors' popular show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is heading for an interesting twist which will see Vivian entering the show as a part of the revenge drama wherein Abhay Kapoor will get Madhu (Drashti Dhami) married to a mentally challenged person played by Vivian Dsena. In the upcoming episodes Abhay Kapoor will get to know that RK's mother Radhaji (Shama Deshpande) is alive. He will then plan to take a revenge on Madhu and Radha for his father's death. Abhay will propose marriage to Madhu and on the wedding day he will get her married to a mentally challenged person. Madhu will be unaware about Abhay's motives and will unknowingly get married to the wrong person.

Vivian is excited and happy to be back to what he calls his home, “It feels like homecoming as I make a comeback in the show” he says. Vivian is still not aware of his character but he couldn’t say a no when he was approached for the role. He says “I am still unaware about how my character is going to shape up. Producer Abhinav simply called and said 'Vivian, I have a role for you which I'm sure only you'll be able to pull off' and when I asked about the character his reply was 'we're still sketching it, so wait for sometime'. So my role is still a surprise for me! Let's see what they have in store for me.”

Drashti Dhami crosses one lakh followers on Twitter; beats her heroes Gurmeet and Vivian

The very beautiful TV actress Drashti Dhami, who became queen of viewers’ hearts through her show Geet followed by another hit in Madhubala.

Currently portraying a new avatar as Madhu in the show, the actress has found a big reason to celebrate.

Why?

Well apparently she is the first TV actress in recent times to have crossed the mark of one lakh (100K) followers on popular social networking site ‘Twitter’. And all thanks to her massive fan following and well wishers all around the globe.

We are sure Drashti will be on a cloud nine and thanking all her fans for their endless love and support.

We tried calling Drashti and also sent her a text but she remained unavailable.

On creating the new record, Drashti shared her excitement with a sweet tweet for her fans, “Omggg omgggh omgghh 100k !!!! Thankkk u babiesss..... yaayyyyy !!!”

It also seems Drashti’s fans had made her trend and achieve this mark, for she earlier posted a tweet that said, “Guysss 99.9 !!! Omgggg !!! Thanks for trending for me !!!! Loveee u allll muahhhhh”

Other TV actresses who are in the race to achieve this mark are Sumona Chakravarti (78K followers), Kritika Kamra (70K), Krystle Dsouza (60K) and a few more.

Talking about her male counterparts only the hot actor-now host Karan Wahi has managed to cross the lakh mark and has 110 K people following him.

The curly haired beauty has also managed to beat her male leads Gurmeet Chaudhary and Vivian D’sena by huge numbers with them having 47.1K and 59.5K followers respectively.

Telly show fans get vocal on social media

Thanks to highly visible platforms like social networking sites, TV show buffs are expressing their opinions about the shows pretty openly these days. They forced Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon off the air once Barun Sobti exited the show, bashed its new season, questioned Rakesh Vashishth's entry in 'Qubool Hai' and demanded Rudra Paro's love story in 'Rangrasiya'. Now, ever since Vivian D'sena's return to Madhubala was announced last week, the fans are divided over his entry. While some want Abhay Kapoor (Gunjan Utreja) to continue playing the lead opposite Madhu (Drashti Dhami), others are welcoming the change. Some are also opposed to Gunjan Utreja's character turning negative.

A fan wrote on Facebook recently, "Hope that, they will not ruin GU's role just to make VD as a lead! #Madhubala." Another said, "If Vivian marries Madhu, I will stop watching the show." Another fan was even more specific: "OMG no! And Abhay turns into a negative character? No no no no no no no no. This is heights! Shut the d**n show for god's sake. I want Abhay-Madhu together, anyhow!" The logical lot had their own reasoning, "The creatives of the show, please explain the moral and logical sense behind a girl falling in love with a man who looks exactly like her father!"

When we spoke to producer Abhinav Shukla, he said, "The leap of 18 years was also not liked by the fans, but it turned out to be just fine. As of now, people don't know what character Vivian would be coming back in. So, I can just ask them to be patient, support the new track and give us their feedback after they have seen Vivian." He added that he has been getting positive feedback from fans on his social networking pages regarding Vivian's return to the show.

Drashti Dhami, who has won millions of hearts with her performances in daily soaps like Geet and Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (which is currently on-air) achieved a milestone of sorts recently. Yes, Drashti is the first TV actor in recent times to have crossed the mark of one lakh followers on Twitter. That’s not all. With this, she has also beat her contemporaries like Sumona Chakravarti (78K followers), Kritika Kamra (70K), Krystle D’souza (60K) among others in the Twitter war.

And it’s a no brainer that the talented actor is overwhelmed with the love and support that her fans have showed towards her. On creating this new record, Drashti tweeted, “Omggg omgggh omgghh 100k !!!! Thankkk u babiesss….. yaayyyyy !!!”

Apart from Drashti, the only other TV personality who has managed to cross the one lakh follower mark is actor turned host Karan Wahi, who is having more than 110K followers currently.

I used to play under 17 and trust me it is very difficult to get selected under 17 but since I love cricket and can play nicely, I was selected. Later on I could not concentrate on cricket because of my studies and when I started pursuing my career thus my mind got diverted. But I am still a part of a team were we all television actors compete with the other teams. Here we don't play cricket for fun but we play it very seriously.

My favorite cricketer is undoubtedly Sachin Tendulkar and I also admire Gautum Gambhir, he is also a very good player and I wanted to see him playing in this T20 World Cup.

If I get a chance to be a part of the Indian cricket team then I would like to be an all-rounder to contribute in my Indian Cricket team."

TV shows turn copycat

Imitation is the best form of flattery. That adage seems to hold good for TV shows too!
While being 'inspired' by successful ideas (replacement of leads, generation leap, etc) is acceptable, now prime time TV soaps seem to be blindly aping each other's story tracks, sometimes glaringly and unapologetically too!


Generation leap (in Madhubala and now in Qubool Hai: Two months after Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon went for a generation leap with a new bunch of actors and a new male lead (played by Gunjan Utreja), edging out Vivian Dsena who refused to play daddy, there's a similar situation in Qubool Hai. Raquesh Vashisht who had joined the cast in January 2014 is now quitting the show because he doesn't want to be a screen daddy. Dhrashti was retained in MEIEJ, Surbhi continues in Qubool Hai. Both are playing their younger versions in the shows.
The other woman turns killer in Tumhari Pakhi, Rangrasiya and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Ek Baar Phir: The third person in a love story can be a lethal presence. Ankita Sharma who's been the lovelorn nautch girl in Rangrasiya makes futile attempts to kill the female protagonist, in Tumhari Pakhi, Madhura Naik pushes off the female lead (when she feels the hero, Anshuman (played by Iqbal Khan) is warming up to his wife Pakhi, Shraddha Arya) off the terrace and the cute faced Aditi hatches up some pretty dangerous plans to kill Aastha (Shrenu Parikh) her rival in Shlok (Avinash Sachdev)'s love.
The wronged wife returns to take revenge in Bani Ishq Da Kalma and Main Na Bhoolungi: Khoon Bhari Maang seems to have been quite an 'inspiration' for showmakers even two decades later. The female leads of Bani Ishq Da Kalma and Main Na Bhoolungi have come back from almost death (given by their husbands), got themselves a glam makeover and are out to seek revenge and justice. If the audience flipping channels is confused about which show they are really watching, then they have only the showmakers to blame!
