PART 1



They just jump to the next morning.. hasret has made tea. she brings it to the balcony..

Cihan and hasret are having tea.

Hasret: I still cannot believe it.

Cihan: you said that already many times.

Hasret: yes but I am shocked. You just came to my door after many months. I did not think I would see you again..

kadir is unhappy already. thinking murat hoca will be upset with cihan's return. and hasret might work less for the single. He keeps asking questions on when cihan will be going back. Etc.

Cihan: there were times we ran to the airport after a concert.

Hasret: why?

Cihan: to go to another concert.

Hasret: they travelled all round the world. He cannot count the number of concerts they have given.

kadir:So when is he going back?

Murat: your welcome

Ceren: are you used to your new house?

Murat: not yet

Ceren: did hasret see the house,

the restaurant is open and cafer is back. gülnaz asks him where cobra is.

hasret: cobra said he will find cafer and he has gone and we cannot find him.

Cihan: who is cafer?

Hasret: balçiçek’s fiancé

Cihan: balçiçek got engaged??

Hasret: she got engaged. They were madly in love but now its complicated.

the women say the lovers found each other again (to cihan and hasret).

murat comes to pick up his stuff.

nesrin thinks he is back for good. and murat says I know your thoughts have not change. and I don't want to talk about the same things over and over again.

hasret tells cihan she had an album out. and cihan says he listened to the over the internet. and he says you sang well but the arrangements were not good.

cihan offers hasret a job abroad.

she has time to think for a month.

hasret says she is preparing a single with murat.

**

he says just think about it.

**

Balçiçek comes to see cafer. cafer gives her the cold shoulder.

he says he needs to clean the restaurant and he came back because of the restaurant only.

cihan tells the women hasret can think for a month before she decides. although he will be leaving in 3 days time for a concert in greece. Kadriye wants hasret to travel with cihan. Whereas saime thinks hasret should not be forced into a hasty decision.

they have ran out of soap and toilet paper. and ceren says we need to go shopping and levent says I am not surprised. Women always want to go shopping.

**

cihan has bought hasret a bracelet.. murat arrives as cihan is putting on hasret's bracelet.

cihan: Hasret..

hasret: what is this?

Cihan: you present.

Hasret: thank you. It’s beautiful.

Cihan: do you want to put it on?

It’s not that expensive. But I thought you would like it.

gülnaz tells cafer she had begged balçiçek to go on stage. because she was jealous of BUSE..

nesrin storms out the house.

sevket is coming over to the house to see nakiye.

Murat: I am happy you liked it. It was important for me that you liked the house

Hasret: why?

Murat: because we will spend our life here.

I mean we will work here.

Hasret: did you change the new composition?

Murat: I changed lots of things. Here.. Florist girl, two halves of an apple, Mrs Seyyan’s Hasret song, and Gönül salýncaðý.

Hasret: what are these?

Murat: your favourite songs.

Hasret: yes. But what about the new composition.

Murat: forget the composition. You will sing one of these songs in the single. What do you say?

Hasret: I loved the idea. I feel like a whole load has been lifted of my shoulders.

Murat: we can have different versions and we can even make a maxi single.

But just these four songs.

Hasret: I feel so light like a feather. If you let me out this window I would fly all over Istanbul

Murat: I do not intend to let you go at all.. we have to work now.

You can sing these songs well but we still should do our best.

Hasret: ok. So lets start.

cihan has a talk with kadir and kadir says murat and hasret are in love.. I do not want you to cause trouble between them.. he says leave my sister alone..

hasret and murat are working

murat is melting in front of the coy hasret..

nesrin comes home.

sevket tells nakiye he wants to get married to her soon.

murat: what are you doing?

You said you would have a glass of water but you are still in there.

Hasret: I am so hungry. I was looking for something to eat.

Are you hungry too?

Murat: yes a little. But I can order a takeaway.

Hasret: I will do something for us here.

Murat: I did not shop much. There is nothing to eat.

Hasret: well there is rice and butter. We can have rice.

Murat: what are you looking for?

Hasret: pots

Murat: up here

Hasret: you put the pots up on a shelf? You are supposed to put heavy things below inside these cupboards and the light things on the shelves up there.

Never mind I will tidy them up one day.

Murat: what do you need now?

Hasret: salt.. well if the salt is close to the stove it will be easier for you. Of course the house is yours you can put anything wherever you want it.

Murat: I like the new place of the salt.

Hasret: and I need a wooden spoon.

Murat: I don’t have one.

Hasret: we will have to make do then won’t we?

Murat: do you need help?

Hasret:c an you boil water in the kettle?

cihan thinks hasret's relationship is muddled because kadriye says she was going to be engaged to levent..

kadriye brings cihan a sandwich and eats it herself.

gülnaz hears nesrin came to saime. she is angry.saime says don't tell hasret about nesrin's visit.

hasret: Oh the number of rices you leave on your plate will be the number of children you will have.

Murat: where did that come from?

Hasret: my sister told me.

Murat: oh it was a lie to make you eat everything on your plate.

Hasret: well you will have many children then

Murat: I don’t mind..

Have you finished shall we start working?

Hasret: don’t rush me.. I eat slowly and I chew each mouthful 15 times.

Murat: did your sister tell you this?

Hasret: no I saw it on TV.

kadriye tries to encourage saime to talk to hasret so she will accept cihan's offer.

Murat: I think the single will be fantastic with these songs.

Murat: what were you thinking about just now?

Hasret: nothing. Thank you for the coffee it tastes nice.

gülnaz calls beste and acts like someone else to learn where cobra is.. and says I am a manager of a restaurant/bar. and she wants her to sing and beste says you have to talk to my manager COBRA. and she says he is with me but not at the moment..

hasret: we did well today

murat: very well.

Hasret: and we had nice food.

Murat: next time I will cook.

Hasret: fine by me

Murat: oh I nearly forgot to tell you. Ceren moved out the house too

Hasret: where did she go?

Murat: she moved in with Levent..

Ceren: It’s all sorted. I put away everything we bought.

Levent: I have a feeling you changed my whole system

Ceren: what system? Did you have a system in the first place? Everything was all over the place.

Levent : I could find whatever I was looking for.

Ceren: and the toothpaste is no longer in the left shelf but on the right.

Levent: any special reason to change its place

Ceren: no special reason

Levent: I am starting to have second thought. Maybe I was hasty in asking you to be my flatmate.

Ceren: I am the best flatmate in the world. And If we cannot get along be sure it is your fault

Levent: coffee?

Ceren: you can bring it inside thank you.

hasret comes home to a crisis.. gülnaz is upset because of cobra cheating on her with buse...

nakish is going to get married in 15 days.

cafer comes to balçiçeks house with flowers.

BALÇÝÇEK: hold on.. I was not expecting you

cafer: I needed to speak to you

balçiçek: take a seat.

Cafer: Balçiçek I missed you a lot.

Balçiçek: I missed you too.

Cafer:gülnaz told me everything. She forced you to go on stage

Balçiçek: yes she did.

Cafer: I feel so much better now I know you are not that sort of woman.

Balçiçek: what sort of woman?

Cafer: I did not mean it like that

Balçiçek: like what?

Cafer: I mean when I said that sort I did not mean that kind of sort

Balçiçek: you are being absurd now.

Cafer: please lets not argue.

Balçiçek: I worked with decency always. I am not any sort of woman.. take your flowers and get lost.

Cafer: balçiçek.. you really got me wrong.

kadir tells murat about cihan's offer to take hasret abrout.. to sing in concerts.. (THIS BOY IS CLEVER.. )

saime is about to ask hasret about cihan's offer but kadriye comes and she tries to persuade hasret.

gülnaz wakes up.. she was sedated.

and kadriye says forget cobra..to gülnaz..

kadir says you have to act quick. my sister might go abroad right after the single.

murat says we swam through seas with hasret we won't drown in a river..

and kadir says this is the talk we want to hear in the football arenas..

levent has bought a cake for ceren and says this is for your welcome to the house..

she says you are nice.. and gives him a kiss on the cheek.

he also brings wine..

balçiçek comes in a huff to gülnaz's house.

**

nakish has made a huge list of what she needs to buy for the new house. She is reading item 154 to nesrin.

murat calls levent and levent does not want to speak.. ceren thinks he should have opened the phone. They argue.

ethem calls and asks about nesrin to nakiye.

**

ethem says I cannot come.. he says nakish should look after nesrin.. but he won't be coming home.

**

gülnaz decides to divorce cobra..

**

nakiye puts a table where the piano was.. nesrin gets angry at first and then says sorry nakish..

levent and ceren argue about levent not talking to murat.

**

hasret is thinking about cihan's offer and gülnaz's situation. hasret says she needs to earn money. going abroad could be a good idea. and saime says you can earn money here too all you need is patience..

nakish arrives at murat's house..

nakish says she will help murat clean the house. he says you can come here only as a guest..

she says oh this makes me feel so excited.

gülnaz has rushed out the house in the morning.

cihan comes to breakfast with pastry.

kadir seems angry..

kadriye and gülnaz have gone somewhere together.

**

gülnaz decides to apply for a divorce.

she is going to a lawyer kadriye knows about.

cihan asks hasret to come and see the group and meet the guys.

hasret says she will be working on the album but she can meet him later.

nakish tells murat nesrin is upset and murat says the only solution is for my mom to change..

cafer has cooked the soup balçiçek likes..

balçiçek takes out her engagement ring. and gives it back to cafer.

gülnaz has applied for divorce and kadriye says and I am hungry lets go eat.

there is lots of food in the refrigerator and hasret is a bit upset.



murat: thank you

hasret: every house must have a wooden spoon.

Murat: shall we start working or would you like coffee first?

Hasret: coffee would be nice. But I want a glass of water first.

Murat: I thought about the single yesterday night. I can even envisage the instruments.

If levent was working with us he would bring the musicians we could choose from.

Hasret?

Hasret: yes?

Murat: did you not hear me?

Hasret: what were you doing today? There is lots of food in the refrigerator. Did you have a friend over?

Murat: nakiye brought the food.

Hasret: I was just curious. Anyway tell me about the single again..

cihan calls hasret and she says ok I will come.. in a couple of hours..

murat says I don't know when we will be finished.

sevket comes to visit nakiye.. and he has brought brochures for wedding places.

hasret is singing..

and her mobile is ringing..

and murat says we should have another go.(he makes sure hasret is late for her meeting with cihan)

Murat: I think it is fabulous. And I think it is enough for today.

Hasret: ok.

Murat: I can drop you off if you want.

Hasret: I can go on my own. I am running late. I think I cannot meet him and the band.

Cihan? I am sorry. I just finished. Now? Ok. Meet you there.

murat calls levent. and levent is already on murat's doorstep.

cihan is at the hilltop and hasret comes to the hilltop.

she is late she could not meet the group.

**

the people are dancing on the hilltop. cihan and hasret watch and eat seeds. and they are laughing.

levent says he does not know why he came to murat's house. he got the address from nakiye.

**

murat says lets try and forget the past.. he says lets do this single.

**

murat says I cannot get this single out without you. he says I am used to working with you.

I cannot work with other people.. and he says also we had promised hasret a success.

**

levent accepts murat's offer but he says this does not mean we are best friends again. I accept this offer for hasret.

**

cihan tells the ups of the business.

how they stayed in nice hotels etc.

murat comes to hasret's house.

saime tells him hasret is at the hilltop..

**

saime says nesrin is your mom and she is upset.

please try to reconcile with her to murat.

murat says we are going through a tough time but she will come round eventually.

**

nesrin comes to murat's room and the drawers are open and empty.

she calls ethem and says I am very unhappy.

**

levent comes back home.. tells ceren he accepted murat's offer and she is happy.

**

nesrin cries on ethem's shoulder.

she says I know murat won't ever come back.

**

hasret asks what sort of songs they sing on stage.

**

cihan is playing the clarinet and hasret is singing..

**

murat comes to the hilltop and watches them..

**

hasret sees him just when murat is about to leave.

**

hasret: Murat!, Murat.. where are you going. Come sit with us.

Murat: I do not want to spoil your fun.

Hasret: no way. Come and sit with us please.

Murat: Hasret I cannot leave you. I know maybe you want to go.. see different countries.. sing in different countries. But I will not leave you. Do you understand. I cannot leave you.

I also talked to levent. He accepted my offer. He will help us out with the single. And as I said you are staying here with me..



and hasret turns back and looks at cihan and then turns and looks at murat and he smiles..
