Do you remember the scene at Selim's wedding? After Fatmagul and Kerim's first encounter at Yasarans' home, Kerim saw her and tried to talk to her at the wedding night. And Mustafa saw them talking and later asked Fatmagul who was the man she was talking to. He was furious to see her talking to another man. And Fatmagul's first reaction was not to tell the truth and she simply told him that he was asking where the restrooms were. Because she thought telling the truth would cause more trouble. The same thing with Mustafa's visit to kitchen... Kerim was already in trouble and telling the truth might make everything bad for them. She chose to talk to Kadir Bey since she was sure that he would not do anything bad to make things worse. This is a frightened young girl grown up in a rural area. She was raped, forced to marry, threatened by the rapists' family, and kidnapped. We all think that she should be more open about her feelings to Kerim. But again, Mustafa is in jail, everything is going so well, and suddenly, she got this letter from Mustafa. Even saying Mustafa's name makes Kerim edgy. So, she again simply chose not to tell him. She didn't hide the truth, she already talked Meryem about that. She knows that Meryem is not going to do something that will cause a trouble. But, she isn't sure about the consequences if she tells this to Kerim. I am not saying she is right but again, she is young and not mature enough yet to be able to understand what a real relationship means. But, she is getting there. :)

Is Kerim to be blamed for leaving FG in the last episode?

A fan analysis



Some reasoned that Kerim should have talked to FG about the letters and should not have left like this. Others reasoned that Kerim left because he feels insecure. Let’s forget about the insecurity for a moment. I won't take the insecurity as a factor here, but would rather look at the whole picture. FG had always had unspoken facts when it comes to Mustafa. She never told Kerim about any of Mustafa’s actions. Kerim always knew about those actions by pure chance and through partial truth. Kerim never knew what Mustafa really did until something happens and forces FG to tell the truth. Even then FG speaks only parts of the total story and it is for something extra to happen to reveal that FG did not tell Kerim the total truth. Remember episode 37 when Mustafa threatened FG at Gul Matfal, FG first did not tell Kerim that Mustafa threatened her and he had to discover that by following her to the police station, then she told Kerim that Mustafa only bothered her by phone calls, then something happened and Kerim discovers that Mustafa actually sent her a message, then another thing happens that forces FG to say the truth that Mustafa came to Gul Matfagi.



Same thing goes for the kidnap accident; Mustafa told Kerim things that Kerim, out of respect to FG, did not even dare to ask her about them directly. FG closed up and never spoke to Kerim which was very clear to Kerim that FG is trying to hide a truth about Mustafa. Add to that her reaction to Mustafa asking her forgiveness after he was sentenced for 22 years was totally disrespectful to Kerim. She totally ignored that the man she loves has just been proved innocent from a murder and drove with her thoughts and silent and went back to living alone in her own world. Again, for Kerim, there is an unspoken truth by FG.



When it comes to Mustafa, Kerim feels that FG is always hiding something and is not saying the whole truth.

Now, he found the letters, they were five letters not only one, all opened read and hidden under her bed. At a first thought, who on earth would receive the letters, open them, read them and hide them under FG’s bed if not somebody from the same house? This fact hurt him badly still he went and asked FG if she received any letter from Mustafa. She got confused did not know what to say at first right? She did not even thought of asking him how you knew that I received a letter! Then she confirmed that she is the one who received the letters and defended herself immediately that she did not open it and throw it.



For Kerim, FG has a history of not being honest and telling the truth in parts when it comes to Mustafa, add to that he saw the letters opened, read and under her bed and she said that she received them!! Don’t you think those are reasons enough to make Kerim suspect that FG is hiding part of the truth?



Still, Kerim got confused and did not know what to think until he found the letters thrown in the garbage. Finding the letters in the garbage specifically after he asked FG about them, for Kerim, is evidence that she is the one who throw them isn't it?Now what would you do if you were Kerim? The only option available is to take the letters out of the garbage and go confront your wife that she is a liar right?



But, let’s forget finding the letters for a minute. The fact that Kerim knew that Mustafa knows that Kerim and FG did not sleep together yet is an enough reason for Kerim to feel offended and not respected right? And is beyond acceptance! It does not matter how Mustafa knew, it is that Mustafa knew and from FG herself, this is disgusting!



When Mustafa told Kerim in episode 65 that FG is mine because you are not yet together, Kerim could have assumed that it is Mustafa who is assuming so out of jealousy or whatever. But to read in a letter hidden under FG bed Mustafa writing to FG that: 'you told me that you did not sleep with Kerim yet', this is WAY BEYOND ACCEPTANCE! For any man whether feeling secure or insecure right? This is disgusting!



Don’t you think that this reason is disgusting and offending enough for Kerim to leave FG!



Yet the way I see it is that Kerim did not want to hurt FG he did not want to confront her with the fact that he suspects she is lying! That’s why he said nothing about the letters and walked away as if nothing happened. He seemed to say his good byes yet we don't know if he left for good or just wanted some time alone to give things a second thought before judging FG.



When it comes to a problem between a couple it is never only one person to blame both contribute to the result in a way or another. Same goes for FG and Kerim; for me both contributed to how things ended up and if I want to weight Kerim and FG contributions, FG's contribution weighs WAYYY!!! more. So, if I have to blame someone I would blame FG the MOST. It is a wicked scenario written by the writers and implemented by Mukaddes, but I won't even blame Mukaddes for how things ended up. What Mukaddes did, is that she brought a fundamental and serious matter up to the surface through an EXPLOSION! :) that's it. And if I were FG I would thank Mukaddes for what she did. The ONE and ONLY contribution of Kerim is that he suspected that FG is not saying the whole truth when she said I throw it right away! but let's face it, if you did not see FG throw it would you have believed that she really did? FG gave very strong reasons, not only reasons but proofs by action, for Kerim and us the viewers that she does not say the whole truth when it comes to Mustafa. she said that she received the letter, the letters were under her bed and were thrown in the bin after being asked about them! If FG is to be considered a victim of Mukaddes plan, Kerim is certainly a victim of both Mukaddes plan and FG half truths and obscurity. If somebody has to apologize then FG has to for driving the couple in this direction! FG you have to wake up young lady! a couple future cannot be built by showing sudden excitement about furnishing a new house, buying new furniture and sewing a dress, it cannot be built by a kiss on the cheek or making love.



Kerim is a man badly hurt in his pride and what he did reflects that he loves FG so much that he cannot hurt her it also reflects that he respects her so much but also respects himself!
