Reading beautiful and emotional birthday messages of my dear friends made me think about what Engin Akyurek name meant for me.

Really, how can this young man, whom I don’t know anything about him, whom I’ve never met and probably I never will, occupy an important part of my life? This is so strange and unbelievable. If somebody told me this two years ago, I would think that s/he went out of his/her mind. Ok then, how did this happen? I am repeating his name over and over again: “Engin Akyurek, Engin Akyurek”. And I think; but no, there is nothing to think about. He is our Engin Akyurek… Just like that… Yes, his name was on my mind since the competition. He was in my list of talented people whom I wanted them to be successful. When his name was mentioned in a project, that project was always before other projects for me. I admit that I didn’t follow him so intensely but I kept an eye on his steps indistinctly. I was so happy as if it was me who was successful when Kadir was declared as the most loved character of Foreign Groom TV series by my family even though I didn’t watch it much. When he won an award, I smiled. I often accompanied my father, who watched Karayilan for Nizipli Halim, with pleasure. And loving Mustafa Bulut should have been the most difficult thing in the world according to my thinking and the values I advocated. Furthermore, it should have been impossible; but I loved that crazy Mustafa who was the opposite of every right thing I defended in my life. I loved the sparks in your eyes so much. You were always special for me. You were always our Engin but you weren’t in my life that much as you did now until you appeared in front of me with your unbelievably pure and innocent looks despite the emotional muddle or swamp of guilt, regret, anger, and sadness you fell in or were forced to fall in. Dear Engin Akyurek, you weren’t that actor I supported or looked from a distance anymore. The person you vitalized at that moment was not a TV character anymore; not at all. You and Kerim were just alive. I felt I touched your eyes; I caressed your hair to console you; because you touched my heart with your looks. Engin, at that moment, I wanted to protect Kerim and you, I wanted to wrap you with cottons and hide you from all the malice. You were my little brother from that moment on. You were my little brother with huge body but at the same time with huge talent and with a big heart. Nobody could make my little brother sad, nobody could be unfair to my little brother, and nobody could ignore my little brother. Even though he, himself, didn’t want it, he should be given credit for; because he was marvelous. Engin Akyürek, my brother with beautiful eyes, face, and character; I want you to be always fine. “20 Dakika” (Originally Three Days), which Ay Yapim plans to produce, has turned into a twisty, windy snake’s tale.

The female lead appears to be Tuba Buyukustun. For months there has been news that Engin Akyurek will play the part of the male lead actor. However, these two just aren’t able to come together for some reason. Fans of Tuba Buyukustun, Beren Saat and Engin Akyurek have entered the fray; Ay Yapim appears to be confused. Furthermore, among all the information provided to me, it appears that Timucin Esen is also being considered for the male lead. The 2010 movie was about a happily married couple, in which the wife is wrongfully charged and imprisoned for a murder she didn’t commit. The plot is fast paced and exciting, and is about how, after not being able to prove his wife’s innocence, the husband puts into place plans to break her out of prison.
