turcoaicele spun ca va fi un film foarte bun. Eu aş fi vrut să o vă într-un film în care să fie şi ea mai aranjată , m-am săturat să o văd îmbrăcată ca la ţară.

Yusuf Kurçenli’nin yazıp yönettiği “Sevdaya Durmak” adlı sinema filminde başrolü üstlenen Tuba Büyüküstün, rolün hakkını vermek için zorlu bir hazırlık süreci geçirdi. Filmde Esma adlı Laz kızını canlandıran oyuncu, önce Hemşin şivesi için ders aldı, ardından horon öğrendi:“Rize’ye gelmeden önce, çalışmaya başladık. Rize’ye geldiğimizde de şive ve halk oyunları dersleri aldık. Horonu, Hemşince’yi öğrendik. Hemşince diyorum çünkü birçok Laz şivesi var. Horon denince artık yerimde duramıyorum.”

Bu sizin bir sinema filminde ilk başrolünüz, öncelikle hayırlı olsun diyelim. Bize projeden biraz söz eder misiniz? Oyuncu kadrosunda kimler var? Ana hatlarıyla konu nedir?

- Osmanlı’nın son dönemlerinde Doğu Karadeniz’de yaşanan bir aşk hikayesi anlatılıyor bu filmde... Başrolleri Kenan Ece ve Hakan Eratik’le paylaşıyoruz. Ayrıca Ayla Algan’dan Civan Canova’ya, Hakan Karahan’dan Tomris Oğuzalp’e kadar pek çok usta da kadromuzda yer alıyor. Ben Esma’yı canlandırıyorum, Kenan Ece, Hıristiyan olduğunu gizleyen sevgilimi oynuyor. Hakan Eratik de Esma’ya aşık bir delikanlı rolünde...

? Bu aşktaki engel ne? Esma’ya aşık olan ikinci genç mi?

- Hayır... Esma ile Mustafa, birbirini seviyor, ne var ki bu aşkın döneme ve yöreye özgü bir engeli var. Mustafa Hıristiyan, ama Esma dahil herkes onu Müslüman sanıyor.

Bu filmde sizi çeken neydi?

- Senaryonun yalınlığını çok beğendim. Fazlalıkları yok. Masal içinde masal gibi, masal dinlerken masala dönüşmek gibi... Öyle büyülü bir tarafı var.

Daha önce Karadeniz’e gelmiş miydiniz?

- Hayır, hiç gelmemiştim, Karadeniz insanını hiç bilmiyordum.

DİN FARKI AŞKA ENGEL DEĞİL

Rolünüze nasıl hazırlandınız?

- Daha Rize’ye gelmeden önce, ıstanbul’da çalışmaya başladık. Rize’ye geldiğimizde ise şive ve halk oyunları dersleri başladı. Horonu, Hemşince’yi öğrendik. Hemşince diyorum çünkü birçok Laz şivesi var.

Zorlandınız mı peki?

- Kısa sürede yeni şeyler öğrenmek çok zor. Ben dans etmeyi severim ama hiç halk oyunu bilmiyordum mesela...

Esma karakteri filmde iki erkek arasında mı kalıyor?

- Esma ile Mustafa birbirini seviyor. Bu arada Mehmet de (Hakan Eratik) Esma’ya aşık olmuş ve onun kendisiyle beraber olmasını istiyor. Ama baktığın zaman Mehmet de suçlu değil. Herkes kendi hikayesini yaratmak istiyor. O da amacına ulaşmak için aramızı bozmaya uğraşıyor.

Zaten aranızda bir din engeli varmış...

- Aslında Mustafa farkında ama ben farkında değilim bunun. O kendi içinde büyük fırtınalar yaşıyor. Bu durum sonradan ortaya çıkıyor.

Din farkı, aşka engel mi sizce?

- Bana göre değil, ama insanlık tarihinin her evresinde aşkta engeller vardır. Din, aileler, töre ya da sınıf farkı yüzünden pek çok insan bir araya gelemedi. Gerçi o dönemde durum farklıydı, bu dönemde daha farklı.

HORON DENİNCE KENDİMİ TUTAMIYORUM

Bu sinemada ilk başrol deneyiminiz ve sonuçta bütün bir kariyer bunun üzerine kurulacak... Ne düşünüyorsunuz?

- Evet, bu benim için bir başlangıç... Hem de çok iyi bir başlangıç... Yusuf Kurçenli’ye ve kadrodaki diğer isimlere bakıp da bu teklifi nasıl geri çevirebilirdim ki!

Kadrodaki isimleri baktıkça dehşete kapılmıyor musunuz?

- Şanslıyım ki her set benim için bir okul gibi. “Çemberimde Gül Oya”dan bu yana iyi kadrolarla çalıştım. ılk zamanlar kadronun büyüklüğü gözümü korkutuyordu, ama artık endişe duymak ya da korkmak yerine bunun keyfini çıkarıyorum.

Çekimler nasıl geçiyor?

- İlk günden beri sorunlar yakamdan düşmedi. Önce dizimde problem çıktı, doğru dürüst yürüyemiyorum, çünkü dizim hâlâ şiş. Bir de kaldığımız yerde iki dakika horon oynayalım dedik, diz tamamen gitti. Sinekler de her yerimi ısırdı. Böyle aksiliklerle devam ediyorum çekimlere işte...

Horonu iyice öğrendiniz mi?

- Horon denince artık yerimde duramıyorum, hemen kalkıp oynuyorum.

DÜNYAYA AÇILDIĞIMI HİÇ DÜŞÜNMÜYORUM

Rol aldığınız diziler sayesinde Arap dünyasında da büyük ün kazanmıştınız. İlgi hâlâ devam ediyor mu?

- Evet, hâlâ devam ediyor. Yakında “Asi” de oralarda yayınlanmaya başlanacak.

Yurtdışına açılmak denince akla Amerika ya da Avrupa gelir. Arap dünyasında tanınmış olmak da dünyaya açılmak sayılabilir mi?

- Kendimi dünyaya açılmış gibi hissetmiyorum. Dünyaya açılmak başka bir şey...

"MAY FAIR LADY"NİN TÜRK VERSİYONUNDA OYNAYACAĞIM

Ocak ayında da yeni dizi çekiminiz başlıyormuş... Nasıl bir proje olacak?

- Evet, Tomris Giritlioğlu bana karşı koyamayacağım bir rol teklif etti. Audrey Hepburn’ün “My Fair Lady” filminin uyarlaması gibi bir dizi. Temeli bu olacak. Çok sağlam bir konusu var. Çok iyi bir iş olacağını düşünüyorum. ısmi ise “Benim Küçük Meleğim”...

Audrey Hepburn’ü sever miydiniz?

- Bayılırım. Ayrıca “My Fair Lady” de en sevdiğim filmlerden biridir...

İstanbul’da mı çekilecek dizi peki?

- Evet, İstanbul’da... Artık dizi için ıstanbul dışına taşınacağımı pek sanmıyorum. Çok zor çünkü... İstanbul’dayken tüm o yoğunluğa rağmen kendinize vakit ayırıyorsunuz ama şehir dışında bu pek mümkün değil. Setten otele, otelden sete gidip geliyorsunuz aylarca...

LAZ GIRL TUBA

Tuba Buyukustun, who got the leading actress role in Yusuf Kurcenli's movie, called "Stopping for Love", went through a hard preparing stage to make her best. For the character of a Laz girl, named Esma, she first leached the Hemsin accent, and then learned to play "horon" (a traditional folk dance in the East Black Sea region): "We started working before coming to Rize (the city). When we came to Rize we started to take language and dancing lessons. We learned to speak Hemsin, and dance horon. I call it Hemsince cause there are different Laz accents (Laz=an ethnic group). I cant stand still, when I hear "horon" music.

This is your first leading role in a movie, first let me congratulate you. Can you tell us about the project? Who are the other names in the cast? What's the movie about?

- It's a love story that took place in East Black Sea during the last periods of Ottoman Empire. Kenan Ece and Hakan Eratik have the other leading roles.Also, very important professional names like Ayla Algan, Civan Canova, Hakan Karahan, Tomris Oguzalp are also in the cast. I am playing the role of Esma. Kenan Ece is playing the role of my lover who is keeping his Christian identity a secret. Hakan Eratik is playing the man who is inlove with Esma.

WHat's the obstacle in this love story? Is it the other man who is in love with Esma?

- No. Esma and Mustafa love each other, but there is a obstacle in this love according to that time and that region. Mustafa is a Christian, but everyone, including Esma, thinks he is a Muslim.

What made you interested in this movie?

- I liked the simplicity of the scenario. There is nothing extra, It's like a story in a story, like turning into a story while listening one. It has such a magical side.

Have you ever been to Black Sea region?

- No, I have never been here before. I didn't know the people of Black Sea.

RELIGION IS NOT AN OBSTACLE FOR LOVE

How did you get prepared for the role?

- We started working even before coming to Rize, while in Istanbul. WHen we came to Rize, we took lessons of language and dance. We learned "horon" and "hemsince" (the dialect). I call it "hemsince", cause there are many Laz accents.

Did you have difficullty?

- It's hard to learn something new in a short period of time. I love dancing, but I didn't know folk dances.
Is the character of Esma between two men in the movie?

- Esma and Mustafa (Kenan Ece)love each other. meanwhile, Mehmet (Hakan Eratik) is love with Esma, and he wants her to be with him. But we you look at it, Mehmet is not quilty. Everyone wants to create their own stories. In order to get what he wants, Mehmet tries destroy our relationship.

But you already have a religious obstacle...

- In fact, Mustafa is aware of that, but I am not. He lives big storms within himself. This situation is revealed later on.

Do you think difference in religions is an obstacle for love?

- For me, it is not. But throughout the human history, in every stage of love there are obstacles for love. Many people couldn't get together because of religion, families, traditions, or class differences. - Yes, this is just a start for me. But a very good start. How could I refuse this project when I saw the name of Yusuf Kurcenli, and the others in the cast!

When you look at the names in the cast, don't you get scared?

- I am very lucky that everyone of my sets are like a school for me. I've worked with very good casts and crews since "Cemberimde Gul Oya". In the beginning, I got scared of the greatness of the cast, but then I started to enjoy this, rather than getting scared, or anxious.

How are the shootings going?

From the very first day, I have had problems. First I had a knee problem, I can walk that easily, becasue my knee is still swoollen. When we played horon for a couple of minutes, it went even worse. Flies beat me all over. I continue the shooting with such misfortunes...

Did you learn how to play horon well?

- I can't stand still when I hear it, I get up and start playing.

You got famous in the Arab world because of your tv series. Is the interest still going on?

- Yes, it does. Soon, Asi will be aired over there...

When people talk about expanding abroad, one thinks about America or Europe. Do you consider being famous in the Arab World as expanding abroad?

-I don't feel like it. Expanding to the world is something different.

So the shootings of your new tv series will start in January. What kind of a project is that?

- Yes, Tomris Giritlioglu offered me a role that I cannot refuse. The project will be something like an adaptation of Audrey Hepburn's My fair Lady. It will be the base. The story is very storing. I belive that it will be a very good project. The name is "My little angel".
Do you love Audrey Hepburn?

- I adore her. Besides, My fair lady is like one of my favourite movies.

Will it take place in Istanbul?

-Yes, it'll be in Istanbul. I don't think that I will ever again take tv series projects outside Istanbul. It's very hard. When you are in Istanbul, despite all the busy schedule, you find some time to spare for yourself, but when you are out of town, this is impossible. For month you just go from hotel to filming set, from filming set to hotel.

- Este o poveste de dragoste care a avut loc în zona de est a Mării Negre, în timpul ultimei perioade a Imperiului Otoman. Kenan Ece şi Hakan Eratik joacă şi ei în acest film . directorii sunt nume foarte importante ca Ayla Algan, Civan Canova, Hakan Karahan, Tomris Oguzalp. Eu joc rolul lui Esma. Kenan ECE joacă rolul iubitului meu care îşi păstreză identitatea sa creştină în secret. Hakan Eratik joacă bărbatul care este îndrăgostit de Esma.

Care este obstacolul în această poveste de dragoste? Este un alt bărbat îndragostit de Esma?

- Nu Esma şi Mustafa se iubesc, dar este un obstacol în această dragoste din cauza perioadei şi regiunii. Mustafa este un creştin, dar toată lumea, inclusiv Esma, crede ca el este musulman.

Ce va determinat să fiţi interesată de acest film?

- Mi-a placut simplitatea scenariului . Nu este nimic în plus, e o poveste într-o altă poveste, cum ar fi transpunerea într-o poveste în timp ce asculţi alta . Ea are o astfel de latura magică.

Aţi fost vreodată în Regiunea Mării Negre?

- Nu, nu am mai fost aici înainte. Nu ştiam oameni de la Marea Neagră.

RELIGIA nu este un obstacol pentru DRAGOSTE .

Cum te-ai pregătit pentru acest rol?

- Am început să lucrăm chiar înainte de a veni la Rize, în timp ce eram în Istanbul. Când am venit la Rize, am luat lecţii de limbă şi de dans. Am învăţat "Horon" şi "hemsince" (dialectul). Eu îi spun "hemsince", din cauză că există multe accente Laz.

Ai avut dificultăţi ??

- Este greu de a învăţa ceva nou într-o perioadă scurtă de timp. Îmi place dansul, dar nu ştiam dansuri populare.

Este personajul Esma între doi bărbaţi în film?

- Esma şi Mustafa (Kenan ECE) se iubesc. Între timp, Mehmet (Hakan Eratik) este îndrăgostit de Esma, şi el vrea ca ea să fie cu el, Mehmet nu este vinovat . Toată lumea vrea să creeze propriile lor poveşti. Ptr. a obţine ceea ce vrea, Mehmet încearcă să distrugă relaţia noastră.

Dar aveţi deja un obstacol religios...

- De fapt, Mustafa este conştient , dar eu nu sunt. El trăieşte într-o mare confuzie.. Această situaţie este dezvăluită mai târziu.

Credeţi că diferenţa între religii este un obstacol pentru dragoste?

- Pentru mine, nu este. Dar, pe parcursul istoriei umane, în fiecare etapă de dragoste există obstacole pentru dragoste. Multe persoane nu au putut fi împreună din cauza religiei, familiei, tradiţiilor, sau diferenţele de clasă. Dar, în acea perioadă de timp (adică în momentul filmului ), lucrurile au fost diferite, astăzi, lucrurile sunt altfel.

Aceasta este primul rol principal al d-voastră, întreaga ta carieră va fi construită pe acest lucru. Ce crezi?

- Da, aceasta este doar un început pentru mine. Dar, un început foarte bun. Cum aş putea refuza acest proiect, când am văzut numele lui Yusuf Kurcenli şi a cerlorlalţi din proiect . Când te uiţi la numele lor , nu te -ai speriat?

- Sunt foarte norocosă cu o aşa echipă ,sunt ca o scoala pentru mine. Am lucrat cu o foarte bună echipă de la "Cemberimde Gül Oya". La început, m-am speriat de măreţia / forţa rolului, dar apoi a început să mă bucure acest lucru, mai degrabă decât să fiu speriată.

Cum sunt filmările ?

Din prima zi, am avut probleme. În primul rând am avut o problemă la genunchi, eu nu pot merge aşa uşor, pentru că genunchiul meu este încă afectat. Când am dansat Horon a fost chiar mai rău ptr. câteva minute ...

Ai învăţat cum să joacă Horon bine?

- Nu pot sta în continuare calmă când aud mă scol şi încep să joc/dansez.

Eşti celebră în lumea arabă, din cauza serialului tău TV. Interesul lor încă continuă?

- Da, . În curând, Asi va fi transmis şi acolo ...

Când oamenii vorbesc despre extinderea în străinătate, se gândesc la America sau Europa. Tu doreşti să te extinzi în străinătate?

-Eu nu simt acest lucru . Extinderea către această lume este ceva diferit.

Deci, filmările la noul serial TV vor începe în ianuarie. Ce fel de proiect este acesta ?

- Da, Tomris Giritlioglu mi-a oferit un rol pe care nu l-am putut refuza. Proiectul va fi o adaptare a lui Audrey Hepburn” My Fair Lady”. Acesta va fi baza. Povestea este aşteptată. Credem că va fi un proiect foarte bun. Numele ei este " Micul meu înger".
O iubeşti pe Audrey Hepburn?

- Eu o ador . În plus, My Fair Lady este unul din filmele mele preferate.

Va avea loc la Istanbul?

-Da, va fi la Istanbul. Nu cred că voi mai avea din nou proiecte TV în afara Istanbulului . Este foarte greu. Cand eşti în Istanbul, în ciuda programului ocupat, poţi găsi ceva timp pentru tine, dar atunci când eşti plecat din oraş, acest lucru este imposibil. Pentru o lună te duci de hotel la locul stabilit ptr filmare apoi de la filmări la hotel.
