Star Plus IPKKND: Arnav feels guilty for being rude to Khushi

Arnav and Khushi's love story is really very unique as it cannot be expected what will happen between their love and hate relationships in Star Plus Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.

Earlier episode showed that Arnav, who was turning soft for Khushi not turned angry to see Khushi and Shyam's name on a gift paper. Arnav hurts Khushi and Khushi gets surprised to see a sudden change in his behavior.

Yesterday (1 May) episode again turned Arnav soft for Khushi. Garima asked Khushi whether she is happy with Arnav. Khushi (Sanaya Irani) told lies to Garima that she is very happy with Arnav and he is taking care of her and her happiness. Khushi told Garima that Arnav (Barun Sobti) is the best husband in the world. Arnav overheard Khushi and felt guilty for hurting her.

Arnav, who asked Khushi not to show her face again, now feels scared to think separated with her. Arnav's concern for Khushi confirms the love for Khushi in his heart. Let's see when Arnav and Khushi will accept it.

Speaking of the character, Sanaya also mentions that she's watched a couple of episodes when they air and thought Khushi was so annoying that she's surprised Arnav hasn't killed her already. Sanaya therefore warned people away from wanting to be exactly like Khushi; 'Don't try to be like Khushi. One habit of Khushi's I like though is that she likes to see a smile on people's faces and wants to make everyone happy. So do that, but apart from that, be yourself!'

The cast and crew on Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon are the favourite crew of all that Sanaya's worked with and they always have a lot of fun. Sanaya is afraid of cockroaches and one prank that was played on the sets included Sanaya being lied to about a costume bag being full of cockroaches which resulted in her avoiding the costume room for a whole day.

Although she finds it hard to pick a favourite cast member Sanaya has noticed that she misses Daljeet Bhanot (who plays Anjali Jha) the most when she's not on set. Sanaya was also asked to sing her now famous 'Aaj mausam hai suhana' song and she made the audience join in with her and related a small anecdote behind the song's history. 'Somebody wrote it and they gave the script and said to Sanaya you have to sing this but sing it badly then after like three seconds they said actually just sing it because you sing horribly anyway.' She couldn't however remember the words to the other song made famous by the case of IPKKND: Balwant Kaur saying 'it took me eight days to learn it and one day to forget it.'

Sanaya thinks that the chemistry between Arnav and Khushi is so good because she and Barun blend together very well and that they understand each other although she mentioned that even if the actors were both single she wouldn't fall for Barun. When asked if she preferred Barun or Mohit as a co-star Sanaya didn't hesitate to say she obviously preferred working with Mohit since he's her boyfriend although they did use to fight a lot on-set when they worked together.
When reminded of her frequent fights with Barun also (most notably the hair pulling) Sanaya remarked that women in general argue more than men because men tend to say 'leave it' and ignore you whereas women go 'kekekeke' and don't leave the topic alone. She jokes that she pulls Barun's hair because she knows it hurts and there's only two places she can hurt him but he's married and (s)he wants (him) to have babies so she leaves the other place alone.

An audience member asked if any awkwardness followed romantic Rabba Ve scenes but Sanaya refuted this since it's just a part of acting and there are always a large number of people on set working and shouting. However for intense scenes the director does ensure that there are as few people on the set as possible. As the scenes take a long time to shoot from all different angles and Barun and Sanaya are often liable to laugh during shots, when they were shooting the almost kiss scene on Diwali, Sanaya had said to Barun: 'no laughing, let's just do this properly and get it over with.' Sanaya also mentioned that after such long takes of staring into each other's eyes she and Barun often get headaches because of the close proximity and their eyes going almost cross-eyed.

One topic that came up constantly in our weight obsessed society is how does Sanaya maintain her extremely slim figure. Sanaya thanked her good genes as usual and said she doesn't attend the gym at all which Barun makes fun of her for because she feels tired after taking just three steps. She also said that when she does gain weight her face is where you can mostly tell since it gets bloated. Barun is just the same as her; they both eat and eat but never put on weight. Barun however eats everything disgusting like bread pakode in the morning, that need 20 tissues just to dry up all the oil.

When asked about Khushi's infamous jalebi habit Sanaya said that although she likes eating steaming hot jalebi the ones on set sit out for about three hours and so taste like rubber and she avoids eating them.

There have been recent rumours of Barun signing and filming a feature film and we might soon see Sanaya do the same. She says that she would love to star in films because she 'wants to do it all' rather than for the increased exposure and popularity that movies provide. Sanaya also thinks that films provide a better working environment than TV because she'd get more time to herself and more rest. The style of working in films is also different: 'If you don't feel like giving a shot in a film, it doesn't happen that day but on TV the shot has to happen no matter how you feel.'
Sanaya would also want to work with someone other than Barun if she starred in a film, again because of wanting to branch out and currently thinks actors such as Aamir, Hrithik and Ranbir are the most talented in her opinion and would be ideal co-stars. However, Sanaya stresses that she doesn't want anyone to think of Fanaa as an example of her acting since; 'I wasn't acting, I was just standing there.'

Tellybuzz got in touch with Daljeet Bhanot who plays Anjali on Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? on Star and she feels that Indian audience still likes to believe in the old adage 'One Kings and Many queens , One queen and One King' - " I don't think the Indian audience will take a woman cheating on the husband very well. We are all hypocrites and in India we give this hypocrisy a name called 'Culture'. Indian women are portrayed to be epitome of tenets and value and are shown to be pristine. Messages that are shown on Television always have a little hesitation and are not loud and clear. Indian Television is all about emotional justification."

After the long wait, finally the ardent fans of Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon are going to see some major drama taking place putting aside the amusing acts.

As already seen in the recent promo, it’s time Arnav (Barun Sobti) blurts out the truth behind the forceful marriage to Khushi (Sanaya Irani). However, the track which will lead to this revelation again takes us all on a funny ride, which we think is quite a different way adopted by the CVs.

Coming back to the storyline, Khushi has misunderstood Arnav and she is under the notion that he is attempting to kill her so that he can marry Lavanya. Few of the instances led Khushi’s suspicion turn into a fact. In the coming episode, she will yet again sport Arnav with a rope and will think that he is planning to hang her down.

Frustrated with the feeling of being murdered brutally she will decide to end her life on her own. Her foolish act will lead her to stand on the terrace roof, from where she’ll build up the courage to jump down. However, Arnav will reach the place and forbid her from doing so. Buzz states that this will irk Arnav a lot and out of rage he will spill the beans about his marriage to Khushi thereby letting her know how he had been aware of her relation with Shyam (Abhaas Mehta).

Now if believe the sources close to the production house then Khushi will make her side clear before Arnav but she won’t be able to bear the fact that Arnav never trusted her. Furthermore, a lot of drama will be seen before the two get back to the Rayzada Mansion.

Let’s see if misunderstanding will finally get cleared or we will be made to wait for a tad long!

Well IPKKND this week definitely makes it into our list of top 5 scenes, and i am confident that you guys ae well aware of the scene selected….Yes it is none other than the heart to heart conversation that took place between Garima and Khushi a scene we have been wanting to see for quite sometime now…..and what formed the basis of this conversation is the Arnav and Khushi’s Relationship (After Marriage Ofcourse)…..

What makes the Sequence a hit is its dual effects….Not only does Khushi manage to put her Amma’s tensions and worries at rest by telling how successful her marriage is, how wonderful and loving her husband is, that he supports her in every decision she takes etc……. but her words hit Arnav right in the Gut as well (Proof the Flashback’s shown from ASR’S POV). He does realize that Khsuhi weaved up this entire story for the sake of her mother, but guilt takes over him on hearing words of love, admiration and respect coming from Khushi when the truth is altogether something else…..It wouldn’t be wrong to say that this has been one of the most beautiful and Substantial sequence (Episode) in recent times when compared to the stagnant and redundant episodes being showcased for months now…..

Iss Storyline Ko Kya Naam Dein? – The Good, the Bad, the Ugly

With such a Huge and able Star Cast, with beautiful tracks that have been opned but never reached a culmination Is Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon has taken completely to Slapstick Comedy and the Viewers are left frustrated that their Fav show is being tampered with…..

Khushi is Naive, but not immature…. we have seen her handle situations before with maturity…..We have seen Khushi the prankster, but what she does these days is unreasonable which is a complete contrast from her characterization…..She is 19 years old but we have seen her handle situations sensibly and with much more conviction making it easier for viewers to relate to Khushi Kumari Gupta….

Arnav’s feelings for Khushi have always confused her, but she did sense that something drastic has happened prior to their Marriage which is why the Marriage takes place in the first place……For Arnav this is a Contract Marriage lasting 6 months (Ager taking over Love due to MU) but is it the same for Khushi??? We have always seen her talk highly of Marriage, the importance it holds in her life etc but what exactly has she done so that she can save her marriage, what has she done to find out the reason behind Arnav’s Hatred, the reason that he put forward such a condition that changed her life for ever??? NOTHING !!!

She knows that there is something between them…..A feeling strong yet unknown….She knows that Arnav too feels the same for her but there is something that is stopping him….Plenty a times, the recent one being the Magical Heer-Raanjha Seq glimpses of Arnav’s love, his affection has been seen and felt by Khushi. Then why has she not put in effort to find out the truth? How does keeping Arnav hungry all day or giving him a public bath or tasteless food help her come closer to the truth…..

Except for the one time where Khushi tries to connect the pieces of this Puzzle where she questions herself if the change in Arnav’s attitude was due to him knowing the truth regarding Khushi and Shyaam there was never an attempt from her side to find out why Arnav forced her into this contract marriage when she had seen a different side to him post the Teri Meri Dance Seq…..

Yes she asking Arnav will not yield any result but then will her immature and unreasonable behavior take her closer to knowing the truth? Arnav does not give Khushi a chance to read him, and this is a fact she knows….so when Anjali tells Khushi that Arnav does not take to affection easily, she uses it against him, showers him with love which gives us viewers some beautiful ArHi moments here and there, but also gives us unbearable and not in character Khushi…..

The Viewers are expecting to see the Khushi they fell in love with back on screen, coz its high time that something substantial be shown in the show from Khushi’s POV and actions…..So lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that when Khushi comes to know the truth behind Arnav’s behavior we get to see a sane and sensible Khushi handle the situation and Marriage in the most coveted manner….

Barun Sobti and Sanya Irani from iss pyaar ko kya naam doon is one such fairytale couple whose bewitching chemistry has captivated people from all around the globe. A mere eye contact between them makes the audience hoot ,whistle and drool. A simple presence of them being together in the same frame raises the fervor of the audience. It would’nt be wrong to say that Barun sobti and sanaya Irani are the most loveable and enthralling couple today. The magnetism of their chemistry and the charisma of their togetherness makes them stand way above and ahead in the rats race of being number one couple. Arnav denies trusting Khushi in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon! He feels she is faking another tale

As updated last, Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is reaching the high point wherein Khushi (Sanaya Irani) will ultimately come to know of the reason behind her forceful marriage to Arnav Singh Rayzada (Barun Sobti).

Ever since this news was disclosed, the only question which haunted all was 'Will Khushi spill out the truth before Arnav'? Well, the answer is indeed yes and we are sure that this must have relaxed many out there. But sadly, Arnav won't trust her.

Though he will save Khushi from attempting suicide but won't believe her once she tries to clarify her relation with Shyam (Abhaas Mehta). This will again come as a shattering blow for Khushi as proving her innocence before Arnav will demand a lot. Apparently, Arnav's behavior too stands justified as whatever he had witnessed during Payal (Deepali Pansare) and Akash's (Akshay Dogra) wedding night, trusting Khushi without any proof won't be easy for him.

But now that Khushi has cleared her side, one can definitely expect some high dose drama and a big change in Khushi in the forthcoming episodes. With so much of hate track being shown so far, the CVs will not make it further difficult by making them fight all over again. Love is sure to build up but will progress gradually.

Furthermore, with the lead actor Barun Sobti being off on an eleven days leave, the CVs might drag the current track a little. Meanwhile, Shyam kidnapping Arnav can also lead to prove Khushi's genuineness in a dramatic way.

Let's hope the show will bring in the desired sequence soon!

Fan of the Week – Mahnoor Khan – Winner of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Quiz

We have our quiz winner who gave all correct answers. Manhoor Khan is the winner of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon quiz. All of 11 years, she is a self proclaimed telly addict. We wanted to know her a bit more so asked a few questions and she has promptly replied them. Have a look at what she has to say.

Tee Tee - What shows do you watch and why?
Mahnoor - I watch Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein. They are different stories, so I like them.

Tee Tee - What about the character appeals to you?
Mahnoor - Arnav, despite being mean to Khushi, he’s one of my favourites. I like his and Anjali’s scenes. Khushi, I just LOVE this girl! She is so different and cute! She’s so crazy as well, so I always laugh when Khushi comes on my screen.

Tee Tee - If you were to meet the person playing the character, what would want to know about the character from them?
Mahnoor - I’d like to meet Barun and Shaleen now. Because the rest of my faves already know who I am. Deblina, Krystle and Karan are on Facebook, plus Kryran read out my letter. Sanaya, I talked to her on the phone. So when I meet these two guys, I’ll ask them ; Why are you not on Facebook? Lol!

Mahnoor - I am Mahnoor Khan, 11 years of age ( yes thats right!) , telly addict and I live in England.

Barun Sobti-The Rising Star

Barun Sobti aka Arnav Singh Raizada of (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naan Doon) currently is outside India shooting for his film, he will be away for two weeks, the current track in the show will reveal to Khushi why Arnav is reacting rudely to her all the time. Arnav will tell Khushi that he knows about her affair with Shyam (Anjali's husband), Khushi will be shocked, she will tell Arnav the entire truth, but Arnav will refuse to believe her.
To cover Barun's absence from the show, Arnav will be kidnapped by Shyam on the maha episode on 12th May.
We tried contactacting Barun, but he remains unavailable.We wish him all the best with his future projects.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Episode Analysis 5-7-12

Ok Now What the hell was that??? I wish the Creatives would show some interest in this show…..But then i also feel that today maybe its the end of this Comedy Riot…..Except for the last say 3-4 mins and the Letter Seq there was nothing in today’s episode worth discussing….

It was surprising to see Arnav take Notice of the Missing stars, he does not miss on small intricate details when it comes to Khushi and that’s what we get to see….. He sees her note on the Salman Khan Poster and en route sees a letter that instructs him to open the pouch after a few hrs…On opening the pouch he finds the stars and a really sweet and heart touching letter…..or should i say it was a total KKG Master Piece?

The Content of the Letter at first Irks Arnav but then it tugs his heart….She talks about the age old theory of how people become stars twinkling in the sky above after death…..She connects it with her and Arnav’s parents and also mentions that next time when Arnav looks into the sky she would shine upon him…..It does not take much time for Arnav to connect the dots and read the underlying statement and he runs out of the Gupta Residence……When i saw Arnav run out i was like what the hell…..how would he know where Khushi went but the CV’s surprised me by actually showing some Logic with the Mobile Seq…..

What follows then is an Exaggerated Version of Khushi sharing her absurd reasons for ending her life and Arnav trying to reason her out of it but not actually indulging the truth behind their marriage. In this entire Seq the only thing worth watching, which leaves you with a huge grin and say “Awww” were the flashback’s incorporated…..The golden IPK moments that were not just strewn about in the show casually but were an actual part of the story/script came in one after the other from both Arnav and Khushi POV….Could this be indicative of the fact that hereafter a fresh set of ArShi moments would grace our TV/PC/Laptop Screens which would be part of a strong and valid Story/Script??? Well we viewers are hoping and waiting for the same…..

The Arnav taking leap of faith to save Khushi Shot…..What was that???? Why was the shot cut off mid way ??? The CV’s actually butchered the scene by not showing what actually happened…..Had it been in any other circumstance the Arnav-Khushi Sleep Hug Seq (An after effect of Arnav pulling Khushi back to him- Saving her from falling) would have looked Magical, but today it was out of place and leaves a bad taste in the mouth of its viewers.

And today everybody can unanimously say that the star of the show was none other than Arnav Singh Raizada aka Barun Sobti……From start to finish Barun was in Completely Character and SIMPLY AMAZING TODAY. His anxiety to reach Khushi after reading the letter, his fear of losing her, his Pain for putting the girl he loves through all this, the hurt in his eyes on remembering every moment spent with her…..And finally his outburst, him revealing the truth to Khushi was WOW!!! And by the way ASR looked Smoking hot here (If i am allowed to say so) and added bonus was the way the Flashback were used….Loved the editing…Scenes being displayed exactly like Arnav’s train of thoughts….

Now that the truth is out we know that there is so much that the makers can do…We know Arnav and Khushi as characters and as a Couple have so much more to do, provided they are given a good script coz we know Barun and Sanaya can actually set the screen on fire with their awesome acting and them being the most sought out on screen couple there is so much we would want to see of our Fav Jodi….So lets just wish the team All the Very Best and hope that they would close the open loops, and open up nw sensible and interesting tracks and bring IPKKND back to the top on TRP charts…..

New show by the makers of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon!

The makers of Star Plus popular TV show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? are all set to launch their new show for the same channel very soon. Tellybuzz learnt that the show will be a crime show.

We also hear that Shaleen Malhotra, who was last seen in Roadies as a contestant, has been approached to play an important character in the show.

We tried to get in touch with Gorki, the producer of this show, who confirmed the new, "Yes! We have just started working on the plots but it will be too early to talk about it at the moment."

Will Khushi clear Arnav’s misconception?
Khushi was adamant to commit suicide as she felt that Arnav wanted to get rid of her so that he could be with Lavanya. Arnav stops her from doing so and tells her the truth about why he married her.

Our source form Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? tells us “Khushi thought that Arnav wanted to kill her as he wished to be with Lavanya. So she decided that she would commit suicide as she did not want to come in between them. However Arnav stops her from doing so. When Khushi demands to know the real reason, he gets angry and reveals the truth as to why he married her. Khushi is stunned to hear this; she is hurt on hearing Arnav’s misconceptions. At first she does not tell him what the truth is and pretends to act normal as she feels that he will not believe her. But later when Arnav taunts her about being cheap, she retaliates and discloses the truth.” But will Arnav believe her?

There have been many misunderstandings between Khushi and Arnav. Finally the truth seems to be coming out in the open. But will an ever suspicious Arnav believe Khushi, what will she do to prove her innocence?

Arnav says “I did not intend to tell Khushi that I know about her and Shyam’s relation but she forced me by doing such a stupid thing. But I can’t believe that even after I have told her she is acting so indifferent and behaving like nothing has happened. I don’t understand how she can be like this.”

Khushi says “I have finally learnt why Arnavji forced me to marry him. How can he believe that I would do such a thing? Even if I tell him the truth, he will not believe me, so what is the point in doing so?”
