Girls go crazy for his dashing looks and killing smile. Yes…we are talking about Barun Sobti, the heartthrob, who garnered immense fan following as Arnav in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? on Star Plus. In spite of being married in real life, his list of female followers is growing with each passing day. Barun is a good friend of mine and as a guest editor at Tellychakkar.com I decided to take his interview and learn about his financial fundas. Excerpts:

How important is money to you? Umm… very important (laughs)

Are you an impulsive buyer? No, I am not. I buy whatever I like without being reckless.

What are the investments you have made? I don't make any.

What is your most expensive purchase? My most expensive purchase was buying three cars at one time.Three Honda City cars. One for myself, one for my father and one for my wife.

Do you feel financially secure? No, not at all. We TV actors have no right to feel financially secure.

Who handles your expenses? Myself.

What was your first salary? Rs 6600.

Present track of on screen couple Arnav (Barun Sobti) and Khushi’s (Sanaya Irani) love hate story from Star Plus Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon has gone the way of ZEE TV show title Phir Subah Hogi.

It has been shown that Khushi is trying hard to find Arnav who got kidnapped. Khushi also knows that Shyam is the one who kidnapped Arnav. Khushi is not resting for a single moment and is always trying to find Arnav.

To find Arnav, Khushi has also decided to patch up with Shyam who is her obsessive lover and wants to harm Arnav.

Following this, Khushi has trust on god and is now waiting for a new ray of hope and waiting for the time when she will reunite her with Arnav.

Khushi takes the first step towards deceiving Shyam in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon!

Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is set to cater some nerve gripping sequences in the upcoming episodes. The coming days are surely going to be all action filled as Barun Sobti aka Arnav Singh Rayzada would soon make his full-fledged entry back in the show.

As known to all, Barun’s absence because of his debut Bollywood film Main Aur Mr. Right had forced the CVs to drag the kidnapping drama to this extent. However, now with the main lead on the verge of returning, things would take completely a new turn. Last we had talked about Khushi (Sanaya Irani) weaving a master plan to trap the evil Shyam (Abhaas Mehta).

Though she tried fooling him out very smartly but he too chalked out ways of judging her loyalty. In the last episode we saw how Shyam deliberately made the phone reach to Arnav so that he gets to speak to Khushi. Indeed his plan worked out and Arnav did call up Khushi. The moment was quite a captivating one as Arnav was seen shedding tears over the pain of hurting Khushi.

He tried apologizing to Khushi while on the other end Khushi blurted out the whole truth about Shyam only to be unheard by Arnav. Well, we wonder if this would prove beneficial in the due course or not. Anyway, moving on, Khushi later received a call from Shyam’s aid who asked her to drop down to his office and sign some papers which Arnav was meant to.

Now, this again is a trap set by Shyam to see if Khushi is genuinely by his side or she is just faking to be. To his surprise, Khushi will first reach to the lawyer’s place instead of looking out for Arnav but Shyam will still be wondering as to why she didn’t tell him about Arnav’s phone call.

It would be interesting to see if Khushi will use her wit and make Shyam completely trust her so that she can rescue Arnav soon!

Football fever grips TV actors

Football fever has currently gripped the entire world, thanks to the ongoing EURO CUP 2012. And the enthusiasm has caught the fancy of your favourite TV stars as well.

Today (16 June 2012) early in the morning television actors played a super cool football match with the CINTAA members at Juhu, Mumbai. The event was conducted by Golds Charity. And the players who ran on the field were, Karan Wahi, Vivian Dsena, Raj Singh Arora, Manav Gohil, Barun Sobti, Kushal Tandon, Sailesh Gulabani, Suyash Kumar, Jay Soni, Vikas Kalantri, Ashish.

Team of actors was christened Celebs Eleven while the CINTAA team was called the Union. And guess what? Celebs Eleven won the contest hands down with a score of 7-0.

The winning amount of Rs 50,000 will go to the CINTAA union for the betterment for the technicians. The Celebs Eleven team played really well and out of the total number of goals, Vivian hit the net five times whereas Jay scored the ultimate master goal sealing the score 7-0.
Raj Singh Arora shared, "I loved the 11-year-old kid from the other team as he was the only player with a lot of courage. For me, he was a master player."

Suyash Kumar, who is also a professional cricketer, enjoyed the game thoroughly as he told us, "I received a call last night to play the game and I took it up. It was a nice experience."

Vivian Dsena shines at charity soccer match
Television heartthrobs came together for a special soccer match to support the junior artists of the industry. The proceeds of the match will go towards supporting the FWICE members who require monetary help for emergencies. Popular actors like Karan Wahi, Vivian Dsena, Jay Soni, Barun Sobti, Manav Gohil, Saillesh Gulabani and many others played a game of soccer against the FWICE members. The celeb team won by a landslide margin of 7-0. Well, these soccer lovers also played to support and promote the game in India.

Khushi-NK duo to plan against Shyam !
In upcoming episodes Khushi will earn Shyam’s trust and then plot with NK to thwart Shyam’s evil plans..
Fans of the hit show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? on Star Plus despite the absence of the lead man, Barun Sobti have accepted the current accelerated kidnapping track in the show.

Khushi (Sanaya Irani ) is frantically looking for Arnav and has finally figured out that Shyam (Abhaas Mehta )is the real culprit. Fans in the last few episodes have seen Khushi's attempt to convince Shyam that she is on his side. However, the satan is a wary man and has designed tests to judge Khushi's declaration of partnering with him.

However, Khushi all thanks to her love for Arnav and her grit to save him will conquer all hurdles laid by Shyam. In upcoming track, Khushi will be shown missing Arnav when Shyam will make an entry in her room and tell her that he is convinced of her hatred for Arnav and they should join hands to destroy the man.

Khushi will be relieved and nervous when Shyam leaves the room and will then find NK in her room who will render his support and they will then hatch a plan to thwart Shyam's evil plans.

Tellybuzz got in touch with Karan Goddwani a.k.a NK and he informed us that –" Yes, NK will help Khushi in defeating Shyam in all his evil attempts. He knows that Shyam is a vile person"

The track is getting murkier by the day and let's hope that Khushi – NK pairing can come out trumps for the audience can not deal with another misunderstanding!
