The lovable and ebullient Arti Puri who is seen playing the role of Trishna in Colors' daily soap 'Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon', in conversation with tellybuzz...

Let's have a look at what has she to say...

How did acting happen to you?
Acting happened to me because I was born to be an actor. Since childhood I always dreamt of being an actor.

How has your journey been in the television industry?
Madhubala is my first show on television and it has been great till now. I never thought of venturing into the small screen since I always wanted to act in movies.In fact I do act in Punjabi movies too. I suffered from an injury and wasn't allowed to do films for a while but then came an offer of being a part of Madhubala for which I couldn't say a no. That's where this journey began from.

How is it working with the co-stars?
It is great working with my co-stars. They have become a part of my life now, it's like a homely feeling. All of them are fantastic and very co-operative when it comes to work.

How is it working with the production house?
It is been very nice working with the production house. Specially would want to mention my producer Saurabh Tiwari who has been very understanding. He knew that I was offered a Bollywood project and understanding this he allowed me to take that up as well as adjusted the timings for me too. However I will be back on the show very soon, maybe in a week's time.

That one person you are closest to in the show?
I don't have one person but have two and they are: Drashti Dhami and Pallavi.


If you were invisible for a day?
Well I would wish that this day lasted at least for a week so that I can enjoy it to the fullest. Anyway I would go all around the city's shoe shops and get myself all the trendiest shoes since I am obsessed about them. (smiles). Then I would also want to know all the secrets of my friends' lives. Adding to this all, I would love to spend a day with Salman Khan as I am a huge Salman Khan fan.


The person who inspires you in your life?
I get inspiration from all the people I meet. Every person inspires you in a way, you just have to sense it. Be it negative or positive it teaches you something for lifetime.

Any current ongoing show you would want to be a part of?
Well I love the show 'Devon ke Dev.Mahadev' a lot. I don't know what character would I suit in or want to play since I love all of them. Their acting is simply amazing and the show is superb! Very impressed by it.

A quote you follow in life and why?
'Live and Let live'. I do not like judging people and I seriously practice this in my life as it takes away all the negativity from our life and positivity follows automatically.

Shamsher's TRUTH TO BE REVEALED in Madhu & RK's Madhubala

Telebuzz is back with all the latest updates of your very own show Madhubala Ek ishq Ek Junoon .. We last saw how Madhu saves RK's life in the hospital after being attacked the second time .. You will see how Rk will go home finally and a hospital setup will be done for him in the house as there is threat to his life .. Shamsher to reveal the truth in Madhubala?



Colors' Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon has been keeping the fans on the edge of their seats with an interesting track to entertain the audience. As seen the the previous episode a hospital like setting is made for RK (Vivian Dsena) at his home since there was another attack that was made to take his life. Also, Shamsher's presence is questioned by the cops in the corridor.

In the upcoming episodes it will be seen that Shamsher walks back into the chawl late in the night. Witnessing his late entry, Padmini questions him about his whereabouts and the reason for coming back at that hour.

It will be rather interesting to see if Shamsher reveals the truth to Padmini or will he succeed in not disclosing his real intentions?

Devi maa Puja being held & everyone on sets doing preps . DD wearing the yellow-orange sari . Police comes and informs RK about the person who shot him . Listening to this RK heads for his room and Madhu follows him .

Off-screen : DD : Everyone is RK's well-wisher and hence we've held Puja . RK does not not like all this but off-late he's in good mood so he agreed ; he's quite unpredictable .

VD : Police came and informed RK abt the person who shot him .

Reporter : So everyone is waiting for Devi Puja Aarti .... RK comes to know that the shooter is among his acquaintances therefore how will this affect Madhu ??

Shamsher again attempts to kill RK in Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon!

Things have calmed down between RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami) in Colors' Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. The two are exploring new shades of their relation but looks like destiny is set with its cards.

As seen last, RK's family is organizing a Pooja at home and for a change RK has even invited Madhu's family for the same. Though this has brought a smile on Madhu's face but she is not aware of the fact that it's her foster father Shamsher who is after RK's life.

Viewers have seen that Shamsher is ready with the plan and is waiting for the right time to execute it. He is going to make the best use of the time while he will be at RK's place.

Things have now come to a crucial point where it is difficult to judge what exactly will be the out coming of this. The relation which has come to a truce after so many twists and turns is up for a major jolt. Now it would be interesting to see how RK and Madhu will face this turmoil!

Life has taken a u-turn for both Madhubala and RK in Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. After the bitter fights and clashes that they had in the past, their relationship is now taking on a new turn. Ever since Madhu has seen RK so close to death, she has developed a soft spot and attraction for him. RK too is aware that it is all because of Madhu that he is alive and gifted with a second life. Now in the coming episodes, the viewers will get to see RK and Madhubala coming closer. They will connect with each other emotionally and this will ignite the spark of love in their hearts.

In closing, Saurabh expresses his satisfaction over the cast of Madhubala. "Everybody was happy with Drashti Dhami from day one. But most including my own team members were skeptical about Vivian Dsena's ability to pull off as the superstar with attitude. He was always dismissed as a wooden actor. But I had the confidence in him and full marks to him for portraying RK with elan."

RK to know that Shamsher is the man behind the attacks in Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon!

The adamant RK (Vivian Dsena) is back in action as he is not letting Madhu (Drashti Dhami) to attend the pooja organized at their house in Colors’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.

As seen last, Deepali (Seema Mishra), out of envy towards Madhu, poured ghee on her sari which made Madhu to change it as she was already running out of time for the pooja. Deepali very cleverly convinced Madhu to wear one of her saris, which she knew would irk RK a lot.

Her plan yielded the desired results and RK indeed asked Madhu to change the attire. However, as we know Madhu too is a hard nut to crack, she refused bluntly and demanded for an authentic reason behind following the given command. The tussle of egos between the two kept them inside their rooms thus making the family outside wait for them anxiously.

Well, in the coming episodes you will see Madhu giving up before RK’s stubbornness as she doesn’t want the family to feel about the day. Changed in a different sari, she and RK will take part in the pooja and this too will bring in some interesting twists. Furthermore, Shamsher, who is there to make RK pay for destroying Madhu’s life, will find out a way of making his attack successful.

He will enter RK’s room in order to kill him but would fail in the attempt to do so as he will be caught by RK himself. Meanwhile, Madhu will get worried about Shamsher missing from the pooja and she will start looking for him. At the same time, the confrontation of RK and Shamsher will ignite a new spark with Shamsher trying hard to stab RK to death.

How will RK save himself now? Will Madhu come as the protective shield between the two? Keep watching Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.

RK schemes to find his attacker in Madhubala
Shamsher once again plots to kill RK and this time gets caught red-handed...

As seen in the previous episode of Colors' popular show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon , a Jagrata is organized at RK's (Vivian Dsena) house where Madhubala's ( Drashti Dhami ) family also joins for the puja.

Knowing the fact that there are too many guests at his house, RK chalks out a plan to dupe the attackers. He is well aware that the person who wants to kill him will make the most of this occasion.

RK keeps cushions on the bed and covers it with a bed sheet to make an impression for the attacker that RK is the one sleeping. Just as RK's suspects, Shamsher enters his room with a knife to kill RK. However when he attempts to attack, RK is standing right behind him to catch him red handed. Shamsheer and RK finally come face to face.
