Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is not only highly popular amongst the viewers of india-forums.com but it also won the 'Best New TV Show Award' in the Colors' People's Choice Awards which will be telecast on the channel soon.

Vivian Dsena who plays RK says on his fan feedback for this show, "I get compliments that viewers like RK's dialogues and punch lines." Drashti Dhami has also put in an impressive performance as Madhubala.

When we asked the writer of Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Raghuvir Shekawat on why he thinks the show is so popular he replied, "What works towards Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon's favour is that it is a raw love story. The male protagonist RK is presented as an anti-hero at times which works very powerfully. Also the grand scale of the serial attracts viewers."

Actress Arti Puri who plays Madhubala's sister Trishna Balraj Chaudhary feels that the show attracts youthful viewers as, "The actors are young and the show has a youthful feel. Instead of it being a saas-bahu show it has love and passion. Young viewers connect to its new and fresh theme."

It's time for celebrations for the makers and even the fans of Colors' Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon as this Nautanki Telefilms' daily has won the Best New TV Show Award in the Colors' People's Choice Awards, which will soon be aired on the channel.

Indeed it's a big feat for all involved with the show as it was started off amidst much galore. Based on what happens behind the big screen, the show has Vivian Dsena playing the superstar RK with great lan and perfection. Not to forget, he is perfectly complemented by co-star Drashti Dhami who essays the role of Madhubala. The show went on air on May 28 and has successfully covered 100 episodes.

Running at the time slot of 8:30pm it faces competition from Star Plus' Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, but has managed to create its space. Colors' People's Choice Awards brought a smile on the faces of the entire team of Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. And the reason for it is that the show won the Award for being the Favorite New Show on television.

Talking about the USP of the show that lines Madhubala as a unique project, Saurabh told us, "There are two ways of storytelling. One is the youth centric way and the other is where we adhere to the traditional way wherein we show kitchen politics with safe drama. Madhubala shows a right blending of both; amidst the lead pair's chemistry the perfect family drama as backdrop is shown."

When asked him about the next major high-point in the story line, he stated, "After the Ganpati track, we now head to the next major high-point in tomorrow's (30 October) episode wherein RK will get to know that Shamsher was the one who attempted to kill him. This will create lots of chaos in both Madhu (Drashti Dhami) and RK's (Vivian Dsena) life."

RK to fall for Madhu in Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon!

RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami) always hated each other to the core in Colors’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.

However, as they say, too much of hatred also ends up taking the route to love. And the same is happening with Madhu and RK. The relation that started off on mere basis of hate has now transformed into a new shade which has hues of love in it. As seen last, RK caught Madhu’s father Shamsher red-handed while he had entered his room to execute the attack.

The two indeed had some argument over it but Madhu’s presence left them in sudden shock. Now it will be seen that RK won’t let Madhu know why Shamsher was in their room. In fact, Madhu will perceive that RK was insulting her father and she will lash out at him. Despite knowing the truth, RK won’t react to Madhu’s allegation and stay mum.

He won’t disclose Shamsher being his attacker as he doesn’t want Madhu to feel bad over it. He knows her faith in Shamsher and he by no means wants to shatter the same.

Furthermore, things will keep on taking interesting turns between Madhu and RK in the upcoming episodes. RK, who has always been arrogant and harsh, will for the first time feel the blissful feeling of love. He will start falling for Madhu and same will happen to the latter too.

However, under the mask of hatred, the two will keep on hiding their feelings. Let us see how long will they succeed in doing so!

RK to let Shamsher walk scot-free in Madhubala

The plot in Colors' Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is finally spicing up with romance touching the lives of RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami). But there's more drama in store in between for viewers before love engulfs the plot entirely.

As seen earlier' RK has learnt that Shamsher, Madhu's father (Bhupinder Singh) had been trying to kill him but RK will not take any strict action against him. In fact, he will let him walk scot-free.

As per a reliable source, after RK, it's Madhu who will learn about her father's deeds. And this will come as a shocker to her. Hence, she will question her father about his acts. At the same time Deepali will overhear their conversation and call the cops.

The cops will take Shamsher in custody for attempting to murder RK. But RK will intervene and ask the cops to acquit Shamsher. And if that is not all, he will also take back his case.

This act will come as a big surprise to one and all.

When contacted, Bhupinder refused to comment on the storyline.

Angad & Drashti Dhami pay tribute to Yash Chopra!

Two of television's hottest and most popular actors- Drashti Dhami and Angad Hasjia will be seen together for the first time ever! Well, hold your breath. The duo are not doing a show together but are infact paying a tribute to legendary and veteran film maker and producer, Yash Chopra, whose sad demise continues to haunt everyone.

Dhrashti Dhami who plays Madhu in Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Angad Hasija, who will feature in a new show (Savitri), will come together for an awards ceremony on 4th November.
The duo will pay tribute to the late film maker by dancing on popular songs from Yash Chopraespecially from DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge).

Sources inform that both Angad and Drashti are rehearsing for Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna and are bonding well together. Says Angad, "Dhrashti Dhami is a good actress and performer and I am sure audiences will like our performance together".
