Mother’s Day: Meet some hit mother-daughter pairs on small screen

Madhubala — Ek Ishq Ek Junoon
Drashti Dhami — the eponymous Madhubala — might be an introvert in real life, but she lets go of her inhibitions and comes into her own in the company of her on-screen mother Pallavi Purohit (Padmini). "As soon as the shot is over, Drashti comes and spoils my hairdo. Now I have started missing that on the days she is absent from the shoot. Sometimes I wish I was RK and she was Madhu," says Pallavi in mock anger. Drashti, in turn, adds that among all her co-stars, she is the closest to Padmini. "She's the biggest prankster on the sets. I love being with her. Even if we are going for an event, we make sure we get seats side by side."

Pallavi Purohit in Subhash Ghai's upcoming movie Kaanchi
TellyBuzz got in touch with Pallavi Purohit to share her feelings on working with veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty...

The gorgeous and talented Pallavi Purohit who is seen playing the role of Padmini in Saurabh Tiwari's popular daily soap Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors will be seen playing a cameo role in the very well known talented film director Subhash Ghai's upcoming movie Kaanchi.

On the same we got in touch with Pallavi and she said,"I am very happy being a part of Subhash Ghai's films. More than that I am happy that I am being paired opposite the veteran, handsome, talented and amazing actor Mithun Chakraborty. I am lucky enough to get an opportunity to work with him."

Further she added saying, "When I met him I told him that I wish I could have met you years back, so that I could propose to you. He is a very fine actor and I respect him a lot."

"I am getting more offers in Bollywood, but I am waiting for the right opportunity to knock at my doors. I am not being choosy but I prefer that the role I do should have an impact. But as of now I am very happy with television and my show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, as I am very attached to the show."


"The role of Padmini is very close to my heart. Though I am playing a character which is my mother's age, I am enjoying it very much. I and my two daughters (Arti Puri and Drashti Dhami) onscreen are of nearly the same age in real life, yet I don't find any difficulty shooting for the show."

"I am very attached to all my co-actors from the show. Above all the producer of our show Saurabh Tiwari has been very supportive and because of him I have reached so far as I was very scared on how will it turn out to be shooting after the leap. It is a very powerful character and I am lucky enough to be a part of the show enacting this character." she concluded.

Madhubala To Accept R.K’s Proposal & Madhubala – R.K Wedding Preparation To Starts In Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon



In Its Last Episode It Was Shwon How,Sikandar tells Deepali that they should go and apologize to Madhubala otherwise they will be thrown out of the RK mansion. Deepali tells Sikandar that she is never going to bow in front of Madhubala. Next morning, Sikandar pleads to Radha to convince RK not to throw them out of the house.

Now In The Upcoming Episode Of Colors Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Madhubala and Sultan will talk about her and R.K’s relationship. Madhubala will explains to Sultan the true meaning of love, which R.K fails to understand. Sultan will realizes that he is falling in love with Madhu.Meanwhile ,R.K will propose to Madhubala in front of everyone and will apologizes for his behavior. Madhubala will be surprised and does not know how to react to it.But atlast Madhubala will accept R.K’s proposal. R.K will assures Padmini that he will become a good son-in-law. In the R.K mansion, everyone will starts preparing for Madhubala and R.K’s wedding.R.K will thanks Dipali for leaving him or else he would have not met Madhubala. Sultan will be upset that his wish to marry Madhubala will never be fulfilled.

Pallavi Purohit turns politician for Subhash Ghai's upcoming movie Kaanchi



Beautiful and very talented Pallavi Purohit (seen in Colors' Madhubala- Ek Ishq Aur Ek Junoon) is all set to spread her wings and enter the realms of 70mm.

Yes, Pallavi aka Padmini, who is now a famous face on television, will make her Bollywood debut with Subhash Ghai's upcoming high-profile venture, Kaanchi.

We got in touch with Pallavi and the lovely lady shared, "Yes, I have signed Subhash Ghai's forthcoming film Kaanchi. When I received a call for the role I could not say 'no'. I can never ever say 'no' to a legendary director like Subhash Ghai. It will be my honour to work with him."

So what is your role all about? "Well, I will be seen as a politician opposite veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty. I can't reveal much. But I am sure you will like me in my new avatar," she concluded.

Continutul articolului parca semana cu unul mai vechi...dar nu mai stiu daca de la ea sau de la Sanaya...vorbeste de Drashti ca are o atitudine de regina (in sensul rau) ..spune ca o sursa le-a spus ca nu vorbeste cu nimeni din set si ca este foarte nepoliticoasa.Deasemena aceiasi sursa a spus ca atunci cand merg cei din media in seturi la Madhu ea este nepoliticoasa cu ei,mai spune ca deasemena a uitat ca fara media nu ar fi nimeni fara publicitatea lor.
Aceiasi sursa mai spune ca vine tarziu la filmari si ca vorbeste tot timpul al telefon.

Cei care au scris articolul Za productions spun ca la cererea fanilor au vrut sa ii ia un interviu audio (prin tel )dar ca ea la jum (presupun jum converstiei) le-a inchis telef si le-a trimis un mesaj scriind "Sunt ocupata, nu pot vorbi "
Spune ca sursa a mai spus ca de cand serialul Madhu are mare succes e greu sa tratezi sa vorbesti cu ea, ca are o atitudine aspra,si ca din pacate nu poate ,manevra succesul.Mai spune ca a incercat sa ia legatura cu ea dar ca actrita a fost foarte nepoliticoasa si spera ca fani sa inteleaga asta(ca nu ar fi putut sa ii ia interviu).

Poate nu a putut sa le dea un interviu si de nervi ca nu le-a dat interviu s-au razbunat...mi-am adus aminte ca mai era un articol asemanator..stiu ca parca si titlul tot la fel era...nu mai stiam exact daca la Sanaya sau tot la ea era articolul dar stiam ca am mai citit ceva asmenator odata si as zice la sanaya,mi-ai confirmat tu petro ca la sanaya era...tampeni..
