Vivian Dsena approached to replace Gautam Rode in Star Plus' Saraswatichandra

When one television biggie replaces the other, it’s super sexy and sassy.
Here we are talking about vivacious Vivian Dsena and gregarious Gautam Rode.
Vivian’s current show on Colors, Madhubala, will soon wrap up which will again make him available for other producers to sign him.
And he has already got a shout out from Sphere Origins. Yes, Sphere’s ongoing show on Star Plus Saraswatichandra will witness major changes with its lead man Gautam dying.
There has also been a constant buzz of the epic love story featuring Jennifer Winger as Kumud reaching its end.
But what grips the creative team are dubious clouds of uncertainty.
Cuts in a source: “People have always talked about the show. Lot was written about the production swap from Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Sphere. Now, Rode, in most probability, will move out of the show. The makers intend to rope in another popular face. But with rumours of the serial going off air floating around, everyone is reluctant to take up the project.”
We have learnt that the creatives from the production side will soon have a meeting with the channel officials to take a definite call on future plot progression.
“Nothing is clear as of now. Even if Gautam moves out of Saraswatichandra, the channel is keen to retain him. Hence he has been offered Mahakumbh on Life OK. But that will take some time to go on air. So let’s see if Rode decides to stay on or move out,” added the same source.
Well, we will keep an eye on the development at that front.
Coming back to Vivian, our sources shared that he has gone on to reject the offer to replace Rode as he wants to take up a fresh show not an existing one.
Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa (Sphere), Vivian and Gautam remained unavailable for comment.

Drashti Dhami: Don't Know If I Want Continue With TV!

Popular TV actress Drashti Dhami seems uncertain about taking up TV shows after Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. A long break or venturing into something else is what she might do when the show ends in August. "I don't know if I want to continue with TV, take a long break or venture into something else. I haven't thought about the future right now. I've been working for six years, so I just want a break to rejuvenate. I feel overworked, and I want to take care of my health. I want to relax and enjoy life for a bit," Drashti was quoted by Hindustan Times recently. Drashti denied getting any film offers as well and says she wants to travel and shop when she finishes with Madhubala. "I haven't thought about anything yet. I just want to take a long break and travel. I haven't planned it yet, but I'll probably go to Europe, maybe Turkey. I am a beach person, so I would love to go to Phi Phi island (Thailand) as there are no vehicles allowed there. Of course, I want to shop too," the same website quoted her. Drashit who has been the Madhubala of small screen was roped in to host the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7. Turns out, Drashti's hosting skills are not as impressive as her acting or dancing skills, which resulted in her being replaced by Manish Paul on the show. Now with Madhubala... too ending in a a month time, Drashti is said to be getting a lot of time with no work signed as of now.

Why TV stars say ‘I QUIT’

'I quit' is one of the most heard and feared two liner that lead actors of GECs can say to production houses/channels and fans.

Karan Singh Grover or Vivian Dsena - Who will get to romance Jennifer Winget on screen in Star Plus' Saraswatichandra?

All eyes are presently on Star Plus’ popular show, Saraswatichandra (Sphere Origins) with its lead protagonist Gautam Rode getting out of the show. As per reports, his character will come to an end, thus making way for a new guy to enter Kumud’s (Jennifer Winget) life.
Well, now to the big news. Tellychakkar.com has already reported about handsome hunk Vivian Dsena being offered the lead role, post Rode’s exit.
The news coming in now is that in addition to Vivian, there is one more name who is presently in talks with the production house. And that is none other than the mighty Karan Singh Grover.
Yes, you heard it right!! Karan Singh Grover stands a bright chance of bagging the lead role, considering the fact that it will bring to life the magic of KSG and Jennifer Winget, post their stint in the popular series Dill Mill Gayye. As we know, the duo are now husband and wife, and have a huge fan following.
A source states, “There have been innumerable rumours going afloat about the future of Saraswatichandra being at stake. However, it now looks as though the show is to stay on for some time. Hence, the attempt to bring in a big name as the new lead.”
The source further says, “Talks are presently on with both Vivian Dsena and Karan Singh Grover. In the days to come, the decision will be made on the new man in Kumud’s life.”
Vivian who is presently seen as lead in Colors’ Madhubala will soon be free to take up his next project, with his show coming to an end in August. Karan Singh Grover as we know, was last seen on TV in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai, before the man created a sensation by quitting the show, which resulted in the channel’s outburst against him.
Karan is presently shooting for the supernatural thriller on the big screen opposite Bipasha Basu. However, sources close to Saraswatichandra maintain that KSG is keen on TV projects too. And the best option available right now is to romance his real life wife Jennifer on screen in the popular Star Plus offering.
We tried contacting Karan, but could not get through to him.
Our efforts to get in touch with Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa were in vain.
Guess all will start to bite on to your nails till you get to know the result of this stiff competition between the two popular names – Vivian and KSG.

Of late, we there has been buzz in and around Telly Town that there is a new twist in store for Star Plus’s ‘Saraswatichandra’.

According to the grapevine, Gautam Rode, who was playing the title role until now, will be leaving the show for some undisclosed reasons. This means that his character will be no more by Kumud (Jennifer Winget’s) side in the show. However, this also gives scope for another man to enter Kumud’s life.

Now, by what we hear, actor Vivian Dsena of ‘Madhubala’ fame is in talks with the production house of ‘Saraswatichandra’. And guess who else is being considered for the lead role opposite Jennifer? Surprise, Surprise! He is none other than Jenny’s real life husband Karan Singh Grover.

There is good chance for KSG to get signed to play the key role in question considering the fact that the couple is much loved and adored off-screen. Their chemistry clicked after ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and ‘Dill Mill Gaye’ and there is hardly any reason for KSG not to bag this plum project. So, this brings us to the question of the day!
