Aceasta este o dilema etica si morala, care se foloseste in interviurile pentru angajare la serviciu.

Neindoielnic e posibil ca niciodata sa nu mai reintalnesti femeia visurilor tale , sau barbatul ideal.

“I LOVE MY FILM”
Elcin revealed his director side with a film of his: Kampusta Ciplak Ayaklar.

Did Kampusta Ciplak Ayaklar gain the success you expected?

“Of course it was successful. Some liked it, some didn’t like, it is normal. But I shot the film that I wanted.
Making a film is very difficult. There are several art spheres in a film. Theatre, photograph, music, painting, mode, scenario… The events in the film were taking place in India, in France –Paris, and in Turkey. But everybody, the actors, the musicians, all of them are trying to be in front.
You have to manage all of them as a conductor, to display what you have in mind and not to forget the essence. Such a thing didn’t happen in this film. This film belongs to me, there is me in it. I never tried to make this film, caring about viewers, about festivals. I think it became a very different film in Turkey. It was talking about the youth of these days. I think the film will be loved more and more as time goes on. I love my film!”

“SERIES ARE A KIND OF LABORATORY”

Many actors say “I play in series for earning money, but my real goal is cinema”. I think acting in a series is seen very commonly and plainly… But you have been preferring series more than cinema these days.

"I don’t think it is so, series are a kind of laboratory. I put myself in an automatic working system when working in a series. I’m a hard-working person and it has become a habit of mine. But it is not the reason for me to play in a series. I love playing in a series. I use my experience in series for shooting a film. Series helped me much while shooting Kampusta Ciplak Ayaklar. There has been no suggestion making me excited among the film suggestions that I’ve got up to now. But if there is one, I will play it with pleasure…"


So you will think on if you get a suggestion… What is your goal in cinema?

"Of course I will think on it. But I can’t say these are my goals in cinema. I am a person acting with his feelings, everything can happen any time. No one can know it. You say “I’m shooting the most pretentious film of the world”, but you don’t succeed. You say “let me shoot a film about friendship”, and then you see your film is a nominee for Oscar. Cinema demands acting with your instincts. It is like the real life, in this life not everything happens as you expected. It is not like in mathematics, 2+2… "

“THERE IS NO RISK IN GONULCELEN”…

We talked about the argument which flushed especially after Ask-i-Memnu. We talked that the people are reacting against many series, and appreciate them as damaging our moral values, and family structure. Elcin thinks discussing series is good and necessary…

“I am not afraid of the penalties that Radio-Television Administration can give, and such things. I can play any role making me excited and impressing me. I’m not afraid of anything. Such things are normal. There were some negative thoughts of people during HS times, too. And those will be ever…”

Then let’s talk about GC…

“There is not such a risk for Gonulcelen, canim”.

It is a quite different subject at all. You know Gonulcelen became the best series of 2010 according to the “best series” survey made on HABERTURK.COM. What do you think this success is related to?

“Yes, because Gonulcelen is a different series. This series reveals love only through feelings.

“WE INTRODUCE SOME FEELINGS, IMPOSSIBILITIES WITHOUT PROVOCATION”
Elcin thinks Tomris Giritliouglu is very successful in conveying an impossible love to the viewers.

“We are trying to convey some feelings, pride and impossibilities without provocation and without making cry a lot. And it is going on beautifully, Tomris Hanim is very successful in conveying it. And the most beautiful side of the series is its touching music. For instance nowadays many children and young people are expressing their desire to get music lesson, and attendance in music lessons has increased. If Gonulcelen has some influence on this situation, then we must feel happy for that.

Did you feel it beforehand that the series would be so successful?

“Of course I had some expectations. It was pretentious to make a star from a florist girl. What does being a star mean in our modern world? The series didn’t take that route, Hasret took the route of becoming a very qualitative singer. And it was worked out beautifully and that is why I love the series.

“EVERYTHING MAY COME TO AN END IN A MOMENT, THAT IS THE BIGGEST HARDSHIP”

When we asked Elcin about one of the two most asked questions, about how long the series will last, he answered us so:

“I don’t know it either. That is the biggest hardship of the series, everything may come to an end, and everything may happen.But I don’t think Gonulcelen will end. Because it has got strong basis, it is a qualitative series. It has no care about ratings. It is a series which is available for watching together with the whole family. It gives peace to everyone – from 7 to 70 because there are nice songs, nice music in it. There are nice clothes. The people in the series experience the same that we live in real life today; they find themselves within the events of real life…”

For the fans of the series, the question about when Hasret and Murat are going to come together, he answers in a jokingly and laughing:

“I don’t know when they are going to come together, but everything seems to worsen as time goes on. I do want them to come together, too. What can we do, what will you suggest? Maybe we should gather signatures?”

PART 10“TOMRIS GIRITLIOGLU MADE ME LOVE WORKING IN SERIES”
The projects that you took place in have been loved up to day. What are your criteria while evaluating the suggestions? What do you pay more attention to?

“I rely on my feelings in fact. All the projects making me excited have come from Tomris Giritlioglu up to now. This is my third work with her. I think she know me very well and suggests me very good projects. I love my characters in Kirik Kanatlar, Hatirla Sevgili and Gonulcelen very much indeed. I can talk to her, I can ask my questions whenever I want, we can call each other in the middle of night, if she is in film editing I go there, too, we watch the scenes together, we talk about “this one is good, this one is not good”, we share our thoughts. She is a woman taking possession of her work. Her hand is everywhere, in clothes, in the script. She loves her work.”

So you mean her share is great in this success…

“Of course, it is great. You asked a few minutes ago why I prefer series, I think it was her who made me love working in series.”


“THE BIGGEST CONCERN OF OURS AT THE SET IS UPSETTING EACH OTHER”

How is climate at the set?

“It is very nice and funny. We are a nice team, and we make a lot of fun. I know everybody. Everybody has known each other since June. Sometimes we keep ourselves for not to burst into laugh because our work lasts longer then. Our director doesn’t want to interrupt us either. I love our director very much, Serkan is a very good person indeed, he is hard-working and does his work very well. You know the ones responsible for keeping peace are the director and the main role actors. We all understand each other well. It is like you are afraid of hurting someone when you work with the people you love… This becomes our biggest concern when we enter the set. It is very good I think.”

And we remind him about Ayda Aksel with whom they have played in HS and GC as a mother and a son. And Aksel is playing a strict and effective mother in both series. Elcin talks about her as “quite another person”.
“Ayda is my special friend among the team of the series. She helps me a lot in any case. We understand each other very well, we even go on holidays together. I love her very much”.

You became a very good couple in Hatirla Sevgili, and then in GC… And you caught very good harmony together, we have got used to see you together.

“As Ayda is a very good actress, you can make a beautiful scene out of a simple, ordinary scene by making it bigger as a tennis match due to her.”

“OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH TUBA IS VERY BEAUTIFUL”

And there is Tuba Buyukustun with whom you share the main roles. How is working with her?

“Tuba is a meticulous and perfectionist woman (I wonder why he talks about Beren as “a girl, but about Tuba as “a woman”). She always wants to do the best, and we always talk on it with Tuba. We share our thoughts before a scene like “I’m going to play it so, what are you thinking about it”. We even start playing it. Then we introduce it to our director, that is why we make very beautiful scenes together.

One of the most valuable sides of Tuba for me is that Tuba takes possession of her partner. She never leaves you in trouble, she always plays the scene and she always aims to raise the scene. She always assists.
And our relationship with Tuba as the main role actors is very beautiful. We play in a funny, respectful way, otherwise how could we even manage to play?

“OH DEAR! OH DEAR!”
Something curious happened in this series. Tuba Buyuksun and Cansel Elcin are playing the parts of Hasret and Murat in GC series, who are nourishing and magnifying an adorable love but do not succeed to come together. It seems the situation has affected the viewers so much that Tuba Buyuksun’s fand and the fans of the series regard them suitable for each other much. Now when saying Tuba one remembers Cansel, and when saying Cansel one remembers Tuba… And the actor giving life to Murat relates it to the success of the series.

“This is the success of the series and our team and it makes me proud”.

You fans became like crazy in all forums when Tuba Buyukustun’s name was remembered together with another person’s name. People think of you together so much that everyone got upset a lot. Maybe they have got used too much to see you together.

“Oh dear! Oh dear! Let us not even touch those issues! But we should leave the people in peace. As actors our goal is to provide persuasiveness of our characters in the best way. We are acting for this aim.”

You have succeeded it surely.

A obtinut Kampusta Ciplak Ayaklar succesul pe care-l asteptai?

"Bineinteles ca a fost un succes.Unii l-au placut, altii nu l-au placut, este normal.Dar am filmai filmul pe care l-am vrut.
A face un film este foarte dificil. Există mai multe sfere de artă într-un film. Teatru, fotografie, muzică, pictură, modul, scenariul ... evenimentele din film au avut loc în India, în Franţa-Paris, şi în Turcia. Dar toata lumea, actori, muzicieni, toti acestia încearcă să fie în faţă. Trebuie să gestionezi pe toate dintre ele ca un conductor, pentru a afişa ceea ce ai în minte şi nu pentru a uita esenta. Un astfel de lucru nu sa întâmplat în acest film.Acest film imi apartine,eu sunt in el.N-am incercat sa fac acest film, avand grija de telespectatori sau festivaluri.Cred ca a devenit un film foarte diferit în Turcia. A fost vorba despre tinerii din ziua de azi.Cred că filmul va fi iubit mai mult şi mai mult cu trecerea timpului. Îmi place filmul meu! "

SERIALELE SUNT UN FEL DE LABORATOR.

Multi actori spun"Joc in seriale sa castig bani, dar telul meu real este cinematografia."
Cred ca jucand intr-un serial este vazut ca foarte obisnuit si limpede...Dar ai preferat mai mult serialul decat cinema-ul in aceste zile.

"Eu nu cred că este aşa, serialele sunt un fel de laborator.Eu ma pun intr-un sistem automat atunci cand lucrez intr-un serial.Sunt o persoana muncitoare si a devenit un obicei al meu.Dar acesta nu este un motiv pentru mine de a juca într-o serial.Îmi place sa joc într-un serial. Eu folosesc experienţa mea în serial pentru a face un film.Serialul m-a ajutat foarte mult cand am facut Kampusta Ciplak Ayaklar.Dar n-a fost nici o sugestie sa ma emotioneze printre sugestiile filmului pe care le-am avut pana acum.Dar daca este vreo una o voi juca cu placere..."

Deci te vei gandi daca primesti o sugestie... Care este scopul tau in cinema?


"Bineinteles ca ma voi gandi.Dar nu pot sa spun ca acestea sunt obiectivele mele în cinema.. Eu sunt o persoană care acţionează cu sentimentele sale, totul se poate întâmpla in orice moment Nimeni nu poate şti asta.Spui:"Am tras cel mai pretentios film din lume."dar nu reusesti.Spui:"Hai sa fac un film despre prietenie" si apoi iti vezi filmul nominalizat la Oscar.Cinema-ul iti cere sa joci cu instinctele tale.E ca şi cum in viaţa reală, în această viaţă nu totul se întâmplă aşa cum v-aţi aşteptat. Nu este ca în matematică, 2 + 2…"
