Drashti as Geet or Drashti as Madhubala, which role is closer to your heart?
Drashti as Geet, as it was my 1st show as a lead. There was lot of learning involved. The crew, the director, the cast, everything was great. I miss being Geet!

You were a dance instructor, is there any dance form that you like in person? And what would be that one song you love to perform on?
Yeah, I love dancing. Actually I like contemporary, I don’t know it, but I would like to learn it. And one song would be Dola Re Dola Re from 'Devdas'.

What would you be in that song? Madhuri or Aishwarya?
Ooh either of them.

Are you keen on Bollywood? And what would be your dream role?
Right now all I’m focusing on is Madhubala. And my dream role would be either Geet of 'Jab We Met' played by Kareena Kapoor or may be Priyanka Chopra’s role in 'Fashion'.

In an interview you said you feel like Kareena Kapoor? Did you come across the movie poster or the Trailer yet?
Actually I’m haven’t seen the trailer yet, I’ll surely have a look. Though I saw the poster and I think that Kareena is really looking fab and I’m sure she’ll do a great job.

What are you Favorite Nic-Names?

Well, I take care of myself a lot. I make sure that I remove my make-up carefully before sleeping, I don’t eat outside food and I drink a lot of water. And I thank my mom for all this as well.

Arti Puri Praised by veteran actor Raza Murad!

Raza Murad appreciated Arti Puri’s work as Trishna in Colors TV’s show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon…

Tellybuzz exclusively reported about veteran actor Raza Murad's entry as RK (Vivian Dsena)'s father in Colors TV's show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, produced by Nautanki Films.

We hear that Raza Murad was there on the sets of Madhubala on Friday for the look test and he appreciated Arti Puri who is playing the character of Trishna in the show.

According to our source, "Raza Murad was on the sets for his look test and he was observing the shoot. He personally went to Arti and praised her acting."

We spoke to Arti, who told Tellybuzz, "Yes, it feels amazing when a veteran actor compliments and appreciates you for your role. You feel motivated and also get inspired to bring out good work."

We also get in touch with Raza Murad who said, "I will be entering in the show very soon so I was watching the show and I admire Trishna's character. She is very talented, very spontaneous and excellent in dramatic scenes. Being one of the selectors of CINTA, I saw her the first time when she came there but that time I was not aware about her. I admired her acting when I started following the show. I complimented her as well as all the other actors on the sets, when I was there for my look test. I met all of them, as I am starting shooting for the show very soon."

Saurabh Tiwari repents initiating maha episodes on small screen!

Everyone knows that the small screen is no smaller; its reach has become much wider. Even some people say that it is giving an open and tough competition to the big screen these days. Like producers of Bollywood movies, the makers of tele serials on the small screen opt for various marketing strategies in order to woo the audience.

Now days, making maha episodes of the serials has become a common trend. It is notable that producer Saurabh Tiwari is the person who initiated the trend of maha episodes in 2009 when he was associated with Colors channel. Since then the trend caught up like fire.

Presently, he is producing Madhubala -Ek Ishq Ek Junoon for Colors under his company Nautanki Telefilms. He was asked to produce a maha episode that went on air on July 21st then he learnt that making maha episode is not an easy task as the channel demands for it every now and then.

Moreover, the producer regrets his decision of initiating maha episodes on the small screen. Saurabh repented his decision and added, "Today as a producer, I understand that coming up with a maha episode is not an easy task. I started a wrong trend. I am sure all the producers must have hated me then (laughs)."

Saurabh you need not repent as every coin has two sides!

How has the journey of your show Madhubala been so far?

It is totally different but makes me miss my previous shows(smiles).

How is the path of life?

Very hectic.

What are the similarities between Madhu and Drashti?

There can be no similarities, both the characters are totally different.

Describe Drashti Dhami in one word?

Ethereal.

How is it working with the co-stars and the production house of your show Madhubala?

Very nice, everyone is very supportive and helping. The Production House is great to work with.

What do you think: how will Madhubala fair in the time to come?

On the day of Rakhi, Shilpa Anand wants to stay away from KSG and Vivian Dsena

Well…minutes back we wrote about Ankita Lokhande “not” wanting to tie rakhi to Sushant Singh Rajput and Hiten Tejwani. Reason? She finds them cute and hot.

We promised to come back with an article on Shilpa Anand and who she finds really hot in the TV industry whom she doesn’t want to tie rakhi to.

Shilpa, we all know, gained Himalayan heights of popularity with her superb chemistry with TV heartthrob Karan Singh Grover in Star One’s Dill Mill Gayye.

So when we talked to her, she responded after a tad moment of contemplation, “My fans wouldn’t like to see me tying a rakhi to Karan Singh Grover…so no rakhi for him.”

“Ahhh…I like the lead actor in Colors’ Madhubala, Vivian Dsena. I have never met him and don’t know much about him…but yes, I don’t think I would tie rakhi to him,” laughed Shilpa.

The story of colors Madhubalaek ishq ek junoon recently showed a major twist in which Madhubala ( Drashti Dhami) was defemamed by the media . He closeup pictures with superstar RK ( Vivian Desena) was splashed across newspapers.

The incident has affected her family much and stained her relationship with her fianacee Mukund, whose mother had badly humailited Madhubala's mother Padmini in front of the press.

In order to take exact revenge from Madhu for sending him to jail, RK will reach Madhu's colony in a drunken state, pull her dupatta andhen force her to take wendding pheras and get married to him.

All this happens in front of the media . But interesting thing will be that RK will refuse to take the fifth phera(round) because he does not like to walk behind a girl.

This will turn out to be a chaar ( Four) Phera wendding. After marriage. Madubala will start her journey as Mrs. Rishab Kundra (RK) Madhubala and also will take revenge of her family insult to him.

Indian Television Couple Strikes at International Video Contest. !

"GEET" a popular Indian Television show based on the love story of two characters Geet and Maan was loved by millions. Since the show had gone off air abruptly, the fans were angered and downright upset with the closure of their favourite show which was still doing well for the Channel. But the fans now have a reason to REJOICE !

An Animated promo made on the popular series has WON an International Monthly Video Contest at US on 1st of August 2012. It is made by the popular Indian Animator and Filmmaker Varun Mehta. It is the second big win for the Animator in a row after he won the prestigious award at US for this film 'The Unknown World' this May. The animated promo for Geet was made 3 years back and went viral over the internet. Later this season, it was discovered by an International Video Contest named 'Vote my Video'. The Video went on to be selected to compete with entries from all over. Animated Geet Promo was the only entry from India and was selected when it beat all the entries regarding to votes, views and comments.

We contacted with one of the fans from the show who expressed her happiness in her own way. "The makers of Geet could never understand our emotions and from what we had gone through. But we were happy that we got the opportunity to show the world that what 'GEET' really meant to us even after it went off air. This Animated Video has immortalized 'GEET' as a show.

When asked about the Voting Process the fan replied, - "The Experience wasn't less than a filmy story. Initially we had a flying start, and then we got stuck for a longer period. But it was a test for us. At the end we had a great rise in votes that showed the power of 'GEET' and its fans. Then We got touch with the Creator himself about his Spectacular Victory. Varun said – "This Victory doesn't belong to me but the fans of the show totally. Sure I created it but at the time of creation It was more fancy over the thoughts of fame.

This has affected her family severely and strained her relationship with her fiancee Mukund, whose Aai has gone to the extent of publicly humiliating Padmini.

Now according to the latest promo, the story will go through a major upheavel and in order to exact revenge from Madhu, RK will reach her colony drunk, pull her dupatta and then force her to take pheras and get married to him. But ironically, RK will refuse to take the fifth phera so as not to put Madhu in front of him and it will turn out to be a Chaar Phera wedding! Sounds, interesting...
