Big disclosure in Madhubala: RK and Sultan to be shown as brothers

Colors' daily soap, Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon's forthcoming episodes are up for a big revelation. Earlier it was reported that Sultan would soon meet his father (played by Kannan Arunachalam), who forsake him as a kid, and would get to know that he isn't his biological father. As per the latest updates, post this episode, Sultan would begin the quest to find his real father and would be exposed to certain shocking revelations in the event.

If sources are to be believed, he would soon find out the truth about his mother. "Sultan will learn that his mother, Meera (played by Zarina Wahab) is alive and has been staying in an asylum all this while. Hence, he will go to the refuge and get his mother back home", revealed an insider. Sources further reveal that Sultan went missing when he was still an infant and his mother had been affected badly by the incident and could never recover from the shock. She was thus admitted to the asylum.

Sultan would consequently try to find out as to who is responsible for his mother's miserable condition. It is said that this is when he would find out that Rishab's father is his actual father. Well, this is likely to make the show's story even more interesting. Though, when asked about the upcoming revelations, Avinesh Reiki, who plays Sultan in the serial, did not disclose much on it. "Currently, I am shooting with Zarinaji; that's all I know", he said.

The on-going track of Madhubala is focusing on RK and Madhu's wedding and these revelations would reportedly follow next.

If Jaan does not work, people might think that Madhubala's success was a fluke: Producer Saurabh Tewari

Nautanki Telefilms and BAG Films have joined hands yet again, after the success of Colors’ Madhubala, to launch another love story on Life OK, Do Dil Ek … Jaan.

In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, producer Saurabh Tewari (Nautanki Telefilms) speaks about the challenges he faced while shooting for Do Dil Ek Jaan and his expectations from the project.

There are very few people who prefer working on larger-than-life concepts on the small screen and Saurabh is one of them. When asked about it, he said, “Jaan is an extension of what we did in Madhubala. I think every person has a way of narrating a story and my style is making it look larger-than-life. I would want people to know my style of making shows, so that when I make my third serial, they’d immediately make out that we are producing it.”

It’s a love story again? “Madhubala’s story is that of a film star who balances his personal and professional life. While in Jaan, the issue is of Kashmiri Pundits and that of migrants in big cities. Both the shows do not have any similarity, it’s just that mode narration is the same,” he answers.

This show is also a huge responsibility on Saurabh’s shoulders as he states, “Too many things are at stake for me for if it does not do well people might think that Madhubala’s success was a fluke.”

The producer has cast newcomers as the leads of his show hence when we asked about the same, he avers, “For me Vivian (Dsena) and Drashti (Dhami) were also newcomers as both their shows Geet and Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani were on Star One and they went off-air because of dipping TRPs. As far as taking newcomers (Ayaz Ahmed and Nikita Sharma) in Do Dil is concerned, it is challenging to work with newcomers because you have to teach them certain aspects, but the plus point is that they do not come with a baggage. There are no stars on TV; it’s content that works.”

You also managed to get veteran Farooque Sheikh? “He was not keen initially as he believed that in television business actors are not allowed to leave the sets early. On our insistence, he said he’ll shoot for just 20 days and we agreed. He also asked for a very huge amount and we agreed to that too. Next, he told us that he wouldn’t come on the sets before 11 am and we gave it a nod too. That’s how we finally got him on board,” Saurabh laughs.

“But he has decided of not working on TV again. It so happened that we had some 15 days patch work left and we had to complete that in Mumbai with him. Therefore, we created a mini set of Kashmir in Mumbai and decided to shoot everything in a day. Farooqueji had to change 22 costumes in a day. At the end of it he said, I made a mistake by taking up a TV project; won’t do it again (laughs),” he concludes.

Saurabh Tiwari's Nautanki Films popular daily soap Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon will be high on drama in the upcoming episodes of the show. In the previous episodes of the show we had seen the shaadi sequence going on which created a high voltage drama leaving the audience entertained.

For the upcoming story of the show our sources confirmed the storyline saying, "In the forthcoming episode of the show a lot of romantic sequences will be shown between Madhu (Drashti Dhami) and RK (Vivian Dsena). In one of the episodes it will be shown that RK and Madhu are in a room and the romantic scenes between them will have the background score as the song Yeh Mera Diwanapan Hai."

"Furthermore it will be shown that Meera (Zarina Wahab) who is shown as Sultan's (Avinesh Rekhi)  mother goes missing from the hospital and is seen sitting under a tree and talking about an imaginary baby."

All work and no play for Drashti!



 
As a daily soap actress, Drashti Dhami is already winning our hearts as Madhubala but since she’s taken up the challenge in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6 she seems to have taken too much on her plate.

From being the adorable simple girl in Madhubala, Drashti gets into her glamorous avatar for Jhalak in a jiffy and rocks the stage with her awesome performances. But achieving this popularity hasn’t been an easy job for her and she has been working round the clock to fulfill her dreams. Her day starts with shooting for Madhubala and spends most of her day on-sets and in the night she puts in extra hours and rehearses with choreographer Salman for her acts.

Drashti believes in being a perfectionist and doesn’t like leaving a job incomplete. So when she was offered a gig in Jhalak she took it after much contemplation and only when she knew she can give in her hundred percent. Now isn’t she a rockstar! RK refuse to consummate his wedding with Madhu in Madhubala!



After a long fifteen days wedding ran in Nautanki Telefilms production Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami), will move towards the RK mansion, unaware from the facts Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) is waiting for them in the house.

If you also get excited with Sultan’s entry in RK mansion, than hold your breath guys because there is quite a lot drama coming to play upon on the show. So far, one could see that Madhu-RK have successfully got married fulfilling all the ritual and customs. The much-awaited wedding of the protagonists has indeed raised curiosity amongst the loyal viewers. Also, the intrigue factor has gained prominence in the last few episodes with the past story of Sultan getting revealed.

Now twist in the tale comes when RK gets to know about Sultan being his brother and about his father Mohan Kundra’s flirtatious nature, who had two wives at a time. Not only RK but the entire family will be stunned to know the facts.

According to sources, “Sultan and his mother Meera (Zarina Wahab) will come to stay at the RK mansion. With Sultan and Meera on one side, and RK and Radha (Shama Deshpande) on the other, Madhubala is sure to have some tough time being the ‘bahu’ of the house. Also, with Sultan staying in the same house, RK will always be suspicious over Sultan’s closeness with Madhu. And the biggest highpoint of all, will be when RK who is shocked to know of his father’s misdeeds decides ‘not to consummate’ his wedding with Madhu on their Suhaagraat.”
