Our credible source informs, "The makers of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon are recreating the magical season 1 again on same channel Star Plus. The show will feature Sanaya and Barun in leads as Arnav and Khushi and will bring a continual sequence to the first season having same team again on board. Though it will be a finite series of 25-30 episodes and will be mostly rolling out by next month i.e. March."

When contacted Barun Sobti, he told us that he was not aware about any such developments.

With a popular show and a super hit series on hotstar, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon has surely been one of the most awaited show for the ardent fans, who just don't seem to get enough of the adorable Jodi - Arnav and Khushi.

Putting an end to all the speculations, Daljeet clears the air and confirms her stay on the show!

She averred, "A character like Manjari is an actor's food for good fame. It is the central character and I that I continue portraying exceptional scenes which satisfy my hunger as an actor. The specualtion concerning me quitting is not true because seriously, a leap is no reason for me to quit. The leap was planned when the production house locked the cast and we had been informed about it. Additionally, Tony and Deeya Singh gave me a chance to exhibit my talent during a very crucial stage in my life. I really needed a show and I will always be thankful for giving me an opportunity to portray Manjari."

"When Manjhari died, people bombarded my social media quizzing if I was discontinuing. I am very touched with the response and I assure that the story will be all the more beautiful after Manjari returns!" Daljeet added.

After mesmerising the audience with his on-screen persona and his sexy physique, the macho man went on to make his acting debut on the 70 mm screen. But now, the actor is back and how!

Gul Khan, producer of popular show Qubool Hai, is in the process of rolling out a web series for which she has locked the popular actor opposite Surbhi Jyoti. Sources confirm that the web series is in the process of being conceptualized. However, the duo have recently done a photo shoot to promote the series.

For the uninitiated, Nakul Mehta too rolled out an exciting promo of his digital series titled 'I Don't Watch TV' with popular television faces.

We contacted Surbhi who confirmed the news, "Yes, I am doing a web-series with Barun but nothing is finalised yet. We have shot a photo-shoot for the same, but things are not yet confirmed."

The show has roped in the talented beauty Aarti Singh as the female protagonist and handsome hunk Iqbal Khan opposite her. We hear that as the story progresses further, Iqbal Khan's character will die and the makers have roped in another lead who will fill that space after Iqbal Khan.

Our source informs us, "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? fame Akshay Dogra has been roped in to play Iqbal Khan's younger brother on the show and he will the main lead after Iqbal's character will come to an end on the show. Akshay's character will be a grey shaded one. Veteran and popular actor Mukesh Khanna will be seen as father of Iqbal and Akshay on the show."

When we contacted Mukesh Khanna, he confirmed being part of the show. Akshay Dogra remained unavailable for comments.

Later on, upon the demand of the fans, Star Plus' online portal, Hotstar launched a short series of the show with the original leads, Sanaya and Barun. With that, the fans were left wanting for more.

And the prayers of the fans were answered when the news about the season 3 of 'Iss Pyaar...' came to fore.

While the makers reprised Barun as the lead for the same, the female lead was yet to be confirmed.

And now, according to a leading news portal, Shivani Tomar will be seen playing the female lead opposite Barun and she has signed the dotted line. Also, the show will go on floors in the first week of the next month.

Gul Khan confirms ‘IPKKND 3’ on Star Plus

Popular producer, Gul Khan has exclusively confirmed details for the third season of ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3’.
Over the past few weeks, there have been rumours aplenty about the show. However, Khan in an interview with Raj Baddhan on Sabras Radio’s Drivetime show, finally put the record straight. She told Baddhan that the show will be a daily on Star Plus, starting sometime after the Indian Premier League concludes. It will star Barun Sobti (pictured), who plays Advay Singh Raizada, along with Shivani Tomar.

Asked if Sanaya Irani, who played the part of Khushi in the original series, will be seen in third season, Khan said, “No no, for this show we always thought about someone different as the story demands a different character.”

Khan also confirmed that the show will not be a continuation of the first season, even though the title carries on. She also denied rumours husband Gorky will be directing the series.

Sometimes, it so happens that the storyline of some shows does not shape up as expected by the audience. And their anger is then directed towards the writers, creatives and the producers of that particular show.

Ever since television heartthrob Barun Sobti's 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? 3' was spoken about, the much-loved franchise has been under severe bashing from ardent 'Iss Pyaar Ko...' fans. And the reason for this has been the fact that actress Shivani Tomar has been chosen to play the female lead opposite Barun in the show.

When Barun and Sanaya played the leads in the first season of the franchise, they set the screens on fire with their crackling on screen chemistry. However, that season had to abruptly shut down because of Barun opting out of the show to make a career in films. There came a second season as well which had actors Shrenu Parikh and Avinash Sachdeva. But some fans are not really kicked up about the third season, simply because they do not want to see any other actress opposite Barun in place of Sanaya.

And this has got the producer Gul Khan, at the receiving end of the backlash. The fans of the show have been bashing her left, right and center for roping in 'another actress' opposite Barun. And these comments have been downright derogatory. Right from pointing fingers at Gul's professional credentials, to passing personal comments, the lady has had to face it all.

We got in touch with Gul and she tells us, "What can I say about the hate trolls! It's a bunch of faceless nameless people threatening you hiding behind fake names and false id's with no courage to come out in the open. Obviously, with the language they use and the class they reflect in their words, they wouldn't want their parents and families to see their real faces. I don't think it's worth our time! Let's talk about the show! It's a brand that we are taking forward and I am sure all the true fans of Sobti will watch it!"

Here's a bit of advice for such abusive fans. Just because a producer is not catering to your whims and fancies, it does not give you the right to personally target him or her. Actor Barun Sobti, who is returning to the small screen after five years with the third season of "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3", says unlike his on-screen avatar in the forthcoming show, he is a very calm person in real life.

Barun became a popular name after his portrayal of Advay Singh Raizada alongside actress Sanaya Irani in "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon". While he will be seen having the same angry young man image in the upcoming third season of the show, he says there are no similarities that the third season will have.

"I am very far away from being angry. I really don't get angry most of the time. I am a patient person. But if I don't display anger, that doesn't mean I am not angry," said Baun Sobti.

"He (Advay) is definitely angry. But there are no similarities between the character I played earlier to this one. The new show has an entirely different story, backdrop, and new characters. It has nothing to do with the one I played earlier. It's not a continuation of that show," he added.

So, why have the makers called it the third season?

"When I was approached by the makers, at that time I really liked the story. So, eventually we decided that it should be called a third installment. It's not my call to call it a third installment. The channel decided to call the 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon'," Barun said.

Barun has been paired with actress Shivani Tomar in the show, which will soon be aired on Star Plus.
