Vivian Dsena: I m connected to the show from Day 1 and it has given me everything, popularity etc. I don’t have any regrets in working in this show. The show is my baby, I m happy I m back. I was on a break. My fans were requesting to the producers to get me back, so it’s one of the strongest reasons that they took me back. There can never be any comparison in Abhay Kapoor’s and RK’s character. Now, lots of new tracks are opening.

Vivian Dsena: “I Am Back On Madhubala Only Because Of The Producer”

Now it can be told. The real story behind the return of Vivian Dsena to Colors’ Madhubala.

Plummeting TRPs and insistent fans forced the serial’s crative team to devise a new method of sneaking Vivian back on the show.

Apparently Vivian who shot to household fame with his volatile edgy character RK was loath to return after his differences with many members of the Madhubala team including his leading lady Drashti Dham .

Says a source from the show, “Vivian had become larger than the show.And he know it. The Madhubala team wanted to cut him down to size. They thought they’d be able to get on with the show without Vivian.But the falling TRPs forced them to do a re-think.”

It was decided to immediately bring Vivian Dsena back on Madhubala to save the show from shutting down though the creative team and the serial’s writers had no idea how and where to fit the actor back in.

The promos showing Vivian’s re-entry into the serial have begun and the actor claims he doesn’t know what his character is called, thereby confirming the opinion that Vivian was summoned back to bail the serial out of the doldrums.

Says Vivian, “It’s true I am still not sure what my character is called. The plot has moved forward by a couple of generations. My original character RK is no more a part of the story. They thought of bringing me back as another character called RK. But that would be confusing for viewers, though they want me back as RK. But I am not sure if that is what I am going to be called.”

He admits he was resurrected on the soap for practical reasons. “Well,I heard the rating had begun to drop after I left. But I don’t want to see myself as a chart-runner or the TRP booster of Madhubala. That’s too much pressure on me and also a little vain . I will say one thing, though. I came back on the show only because the producer Abhinav Shukla asked me to. He was insistent that I return. I couldn’t say no to him.And now my fans are bombarding Abhinav with thanks for my return on various social networking sites and Twitter.He feels stalked!”

Does all this adulation give Vivian a swollen head? “It is actually very sobering.I see my return to Madhubala as a sign from God. He wants me to be part of this show.As long as He wants it no one , not even I, can get me out of Madhubala.”

Vivian has a very different character to play now. “This is the first time ever that an actor has returned to a serial playing a character totally unrelated to the one played earlier. It’s a challenge for me and for the team to fit me in .”

He denies differences with his co-star Drashti Dham. “We work well together.After that she goes her way I go home to my wife. That’s the way it is. That’s how it should be.”

Tanvi Thakkar to enter Colors' Madhubala



The going on Colors’ Madhubala (Nautanki Telefilms) is all set to get exciting as a new face will come to the fore to add some drama on the show.

And the face will be none other than the beautiful Tanvi Thakkar, who is currently seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Nandini.

Tanvi will be seen playing Bittoo (Indresh Malik) and Leela’s (Swati Anand) daughter Sweety. She will a replica of her mother and will have grey shade to the character. The role of Sweety was being played by a newbie named Sweta, but since the story will now focus pivotally on the character, the makers have gone in for a replacement.

Sweety will be a girl who will have grey shade and will dislike Madhu (Drashti Dhami). And the twist in the tale will come when the girl will go on to marry Madhu’s love Abhay Kapoor (Gunjan Utreja). With her entering the house, she will make Madhu’s life hell.

When we called up Tanvi, she sounded all excited, “God has been kind to me. I got the show as soon as I wrapped up with my part in Nandini. What more could I have asked for. I have just shot for a day and yet to know the basic detailing, but I trust the creatives to churn out a wonderful track for me. All I can say is that the character is very interesting and will spice up the show in the coming days.”

Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is all set to see an exciting twist as a new character is being introduced by the makers of this hit television soap. Yes, from what we hear, Tanvi Thakkar, who is currently seen in Desh Ki Beti Nandini is all set to enter Madhubala. So what will be her role in the show, you ask?

Handsome Gunjan Utreja is scared of heights but still wants to experience the thrill of Sky Diving.

Television actor Gunja Utreja currently seen as Abhay Kapoor in Colors' popular show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon wishes to do the exhilarating adventure Bungee Jumping despite being scared of heights and wants to overcome his phobia through Sky Diving.

Here is Gunjan sharing his adventure experiences with us...

What is adventure according to you?

Wow! According to me adventure is something to overcome your fear. I am very sacred of heights; I have a phobia of heights. When I was young I did some stunts from heights but still I could not overcome my phobia.

Share your most adventurous day?

My most adventurous day was when I went to New Zealand with my friend Manish Paul. I love driving cars, so I drove F1 race car and it was a great experience. I also wanted to do Bungee Jumping but since I have a phobia of height and I couldn't push myself for it.

Your favorite adventure?

I went to South Africa and there I visited a wild life sanctuary. I really enjoyed walking in the sanctuary and that's my favorite adventure.

One thrilling adventure on your wish list?

Well, though I am scared of heights still I want to try Sky Diving and hope that I overcome my phobia and fulfill my wish.

Who would you like to take for adventurous activity from industry?

Manish Paul, he is also scared of heights but still he did Bungee Jumping in New Zealand and I am sure he will encourage me to do Sky Diving.
