Karan Goddwani: I really like Bhabho aka Neelu Waghela (laughs). Though she is married, she dances so well at this age. She doesn’t get time to go to a gym, but still she is so flexible and full of energy. Other than Bhabho, I think the Mohan sisters (Shakti, Mukti and Neeti) are the hot bods of television.

Akshay Dogra was last seen playing the suave Aakash Singh Raizada on Star Plus' show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and will now be seen playing a totally different avatar.

The actor is all set to don a new hat by essaying a rustic character in Zee TV's show Punar Vivah. Tellybuzz spoke to Akshay who further elaborated," I will be playing a very rustic character. My role will make an entry into the family and it will be a real game changer. I cannot reveal more than this right now."

He further said," My character's name is again Aakash in this show. I will get to play him in a fun way." He is expected to start shooting today.

All ardent Akshay Dogra fans can now catch him on Zee TV at 10.30 pm!

Barun visits Kolkata to do a recce for 22 Yards

Barun Sobti, who set hearts aflutter with his portrayal of Arnav in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, was recently in Kolkata to do a recce for his film 22 Yards, in which he plays a cricket agent.

The film is a story of a sports agent and a cricketer, where both make a comeback with each other's help. The international cricket industry is a backdrop for the film, being directed by Mitali Ghoshal. "I came to familiarize myself with the city before I start shooting here," said Barun. The team went to Eden Gardens, Maidan, Maharani Tea Stall and Rajarhat for the recce.

"Kolkata is unadulterated. It has an old world charm but is also a busy, bustling city that has character. I also loved the people I met during the trip," said Barun, who has just finished shooting for his first film, Main Aur Mr Right with Shenaz Treasurywala. "I was supposed to start dubbing today. But couldn't because of a bad cold," he said. Well, get well soon and we wish you all the best for your silver screen debut Barun!

He became a household name with his portrayal of the laid-back Shravan in Sony's Baat Hamari Pakki Hai in the same year. However, the breakthrough in his career came in 2011 when he played the lead role of Arnav Singh Raizada in one of Star Plus' most celebrated shows Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Having gathered an enviable global fan-following in his 3-year long television career, he now aspires for an equally satiable career as a film actor. His debut movie, Main Aur Mr. Riight, is all set for release around March-April of this year.
